Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a secure and opaque case. The case should be 11.5 by 9 inches by 2 inches and should remain sealed at all times unless testing is being conducted.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a magazine manga anthology of japanese origin. It is exactly 10.5 long and 8 inches wide. It consists of exactly 30 pages, containing a chapter from each of three different manga series, as well as advertisements for merchandise, and a two page spread at both front and back displaying characters from all three manga series, as well as other as of yet unidentified characters.
All text contained within SCP-XXXX is written in Japanese Kanji, when translated, the title reads: “Gijinka Unlimited: Volume 25.” Published by Kenkou Shiro and Yinzun Media in 2013. Each manga series contained with in revolves around a general theme of Inhuman or semi-human female characters. All are written with the intent to titillate the reader, with provocatively posed characters, and sensual dialogue.
Upon contact with any object of entity with an anomalous property SCP-XXXX with emit a green-ish glow, if contact is held for approximately 2.4 seconds the anomalous object or entity will begin to transform. The process can take anyway from 10 to 20 minutes for previously animate entities, and 30 to 40 minutes for previously inanimate objects.
When the transformation is complete the new entity, designated SCP-XXXX-1, generally takes on the appearance of a teenage or young adult female. Though always humanoid, instances of SCP-XXXX-1 will always retain elements of their previous form, and will still express their anomalous properties or a alternate expression of their previous properties.
Only 1 instance of SCP-XXXX-1 can exist at any given time, and the transformation lasts anywhere from 24 to 48 hours, however no clear way exists of predicting the exact time any individual instance of SCP-XXXX-1 will linger.
Addendum XXXX-1: Following an investigation, The Foundation found no official records existing regarding Kenkou Shiro or the formation of a company Yinzun Media. None of the various products advertise in SCP-XXXX exist, however, on the last page there is a mail in coupon, which has been cut out. The coupon description reads, “Mail in 30 to receive a free Lamia-chan figurine.”
The PO box provided for mail in does exist, and was rented by one Nishihara Kojiro from June 2011, to December 2013 when payments abruptly ceased. Further investigation revealed that Nishihara Kojiro died in a gas explosion on February 12, 2014, no further explanation is provided in the initial police report, no follow-up investigation into his death was made, and no living relatives exist.
