Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a high security storage unit on site. Multiple encrypted locks are to be activated at all times to ensure continued containment. Storage unit should be checked daily to ensure proper maintenance, and surveillance footage monitored daily.

Description: SCP-XXXX appears to be a Mattel brand Barbie doll with signs of significant charring and laceration damage throughout it's body. SCP-XXXX Appears to be held together through a combination of steel wire, zip ties, rubber bands, and parts of another unidentified doll. SCP-XXXX has been observed sharing the same range of movement as a normal humanoid, despite being made of non-functional materials.

When being directly observed, SCP-XXXX will behave in a friendly, playful manner and has been observed to communicate through bodily gestures. If not directly observed by a humanoid for a period of over ten (10) minutes, SCP-XXXX will begin to construct various traps¹with any available objects in it's vicinity²,with more complex traps being constructed over longer periods of time³. SCP-XXXX has only been observed to exhibit this behavior when in a structure regularly inhabited or traversed by human or humanoid subjects, and only after SCP-XXXX has made contact with said subjects⁴.When in a structure for more than three (3) days without interaction, SCP-XXXX will revert to an inactive state and cease movement. If SCP-XXXX has been in an inactive state for longer than a period of six (6) months, SCP-XXXX will attempt to leave the structure and find what it perceives to be a more high-traffic area⁵.

Discovery:
*SCP-XXXX was initially discovered crawling out of a sewer drain by Agent [REDACTED] while taking a late night walk. MTF-[REDACTED] was immediately called in and successfully captured and contained SCP-XXXX.

Time: One (1) minute

Results: SCP-XXXX proceeded to use its tendrils to remove the cover of the lock and rapidly rebuilt into an unknown device within a span of thirty (30) seconds. D-65807 instructed to enter SCP-XXXX's test chamber. Upon entering SCP-XXXX's chamber, D-658077 was instantly shot by a series of small gears, later determined to have been traveling at a rate of three thousand (3000) km/h. Device retrieved for study.

Test 02

Items: One (1) Standard electric janitorial mop
Time: Ten (10) minutes

Results: SCP-XXXX proceeded to rapidly disassemble the mop and rebuilt it into an unidentified glowing device over a span of eight (8) minutes. D-49683 instructed to enter SCP-XXXX's test chamber. Upon entering, SCP-XXXX jumped on D-49683's back before [DATA EXPUNGED], destroying test chamber and causing extensive damage to site testing wing. Seventeen (17) casualties (including D-49683) in total, with eight (8) foundation staff injured. Subject re-contained and testing discontinued.

Note: Later investigation of device revealed several anomalous mechanisms and an unknown explosive compound.

3. Researcher's Note: Please keep in mind when testing that SCP-XXXX seems to be able to construct traps that should take hours to build within minutes. Use caution when entering test chambers.

4. SCP-XXXX has been observed to make sounds similar to children's laughter in an attempt to lure victims.

5. When relocating to a new area, SCP-XXXX seems to prefer to explore after midnight (12:00) in it's current timezone's location. It is unknown how SCP-XXXX determines it's current location and timezone.
