Elevator Pitch: A very weak strain of Bronchitis that will slowly turn your lungs (and eventually every other internal organ) into a certain metal depending on age and gender.

Central Narrative: none

Hook/Attention-Grabber: A disease that has been identified as a very weak strain of Bronchitis, which has mutated in a way that causes horrible internal mutilation on anyone who is infected. These mutilations often take the form of replacing the body's internal organs with a seemingly random element from the d-block on the periodic table (iron, cobalt, nickel, gold, etc.). These changes have seemingly no affect on standard abilities. The only known symptoms are ones that are normally associated with Bronchitis. Some subjects who had their internal organs turned into lead died from heavy lead poisoning, which suggests that the metals themselves act as they normally would.

Additional Notes: This is my 5th attempt at an SCP. I'm hoping for some ways I could make the internal effects of the SCP more realistic, like what I did with the lead poisoning bit. I'm also hoping for some ways to make this more original, as there are already a few disease-related SCPs out there and I want to make this one stand out. Cheers!
