Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5110 is contained a 30in by 30in titanium cube. and of SCP-5110-2 and SCP-5110-1 to encourage not stay in one specific place and focus spores there to possibly erode the metal. SCP-5110 is to be transferred from Site-██ to Site-██ depending on its state. All personnel approaching 5110 have to wear level A biohazard suits. The box is lined with chemical sensors to check when the count of spores is dangerous. This is needed so that when personnel opens the box to clean out the box of SCP-5110-3, prevents that too many spores get released and erode the cell containing the box. The box is always held in another airtight and ventilated room as a fail safe if a hole opens in the titanium box. The cell is monitored by armed guards wearing two (2) level A biohazard suits.

Description: SCP-5110 is a Vicks tissue box which dimensions measure 4in by 9in by 5in. The box is made of cardboard and has standard Vicks tissues on the inside while in its dormant state. While in the inactive state no tissues are visible outside of the box. SCP-5110 will become active if disturbed in any way, sudden temperature drops (26℃ to 23.8℃), extreme temperatures (0℃ or 38℃), being attacked, submerged in water, being dropped, etc. SCP-5110 will become dormant when undisturbed for two days unless SCP-5110-3 has made a hive.

When in its active state, it will spawn an instance of SCP-5110-1. SCP-5110-1 appears to be a plain white Vicks tissue and releases spores that give off a strong scent of Vicks. These spores also have a chance of “evolving” (Exactly 33 ⅓ chance) into SCP-5110-2, which are smaller versions of SCP-5110-1 but do not give off spores but when touched spread infection.

When living entities ingest or otherwise come in contact with these spores, the entity’s body starts to turn into Vicks tissues from the inside out and are then classified as SCP-5110-A. This process varies in time from the number of spores ingested or touched. The process varies from 3-7 days. The process slowly destroys the victim’s sanity through mass amounts of pain. When the process is complete all traces of the original organism is gone because the tissues have replaced all the cells in the body of the entity; therefore the tissues assume the shape of the creature. Then the tissues can use the entity’s bodily functions to the fullest. For example, if a dog were infected, the tissues would be able to assume its form and run as fast or faster than the original dog. SCP-5110-A will then seek others to poison, and within a day of the process being complete, the tissue entity explodes into a mist of Vicks VapoSteam. All entities harmed by SCP-5110-A, or in the blast of the explosion will then get infected.

When concentrated the spores of 5110-1 can erode material but seems to be unable to destroy titanium and seems to have a hard time corroding steel. When left alone for long enough, the spores clump together making SCP-5110-3, a thick light grey fabric-like substance. SCP-5110-3 then spreads over surfaces making a hive for SCP-5110’s protection and continues spreading forever at a rate of 32cm2 every seven days. SCP-5110-3 is considered a colony when SCP-5110-3 has covered 32m2. When any living organism comes in contact with SCP-5110-3, it will then envelop them and within 1 hour release them as SCP-5110-A-1. SCP-5110-A-1 is SCP-5110-A but can survive for three days and then has to go back to the hive within 12 hours, or it explodes into Vicks VapoSteam.

SCP-5110-B is a sentient mass of tissues that can form into any shape it sees fit while attached to the inside of the bottom of SCP-5110. Its shape-shifting abilities seem to be limited to where it cannot shoot anything out of it and can only shift into anything that can fit within a 10-meter radius of SCP-5110 and can change into a more significant thing, but only a part of it. The thing SCP-5110-B shifts into are entirely made out of tissue but can create the exact shape, hardness, texture, smell, and even taste. SCP-5110-B seems able to switch off and on the exuding of its spores when an entity comes into proximity of it when there is a hive. SCP-5110-B can speak when it assumes a human form; its vocabulary seems infinite and can speak many languages. SCP-5110-B has been documented to be able to detach itself from the box for as long as 2 minutes before starting to shrivel up and reattaching to SCP-5110. SCP-5110 is able to move through mind control of SCP-5110-A by picking it up in some way and moving it.
