Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4437 is to be contained in a large containment terrarium comprised of stainless steel. 2 security cameras are to be viewing the containment area at all times, and only D-class personnel are permitted inside of the containment area unless authorized by a higher class. The containment area is to be guarded by a minimum of 2 armed Clearance Level 3 personnel.
Description: SCP-4437 is a large arachnid-like organism. It appears to be a spider, but not a documented or known species. SCP-4437 is 36 feet long from head to abdomen, and 20 tall at it's full height. After a sighting in the █████ ██████ in ███████ SCP Foundation authorities quickly recovered the item. The body color pallet of SCP-4437 is a light eye-splitting red, while the legs are a dark velvet color. SCP-4437 can produce a web-like substance from it's abdomen, this unknown material is much stronger than any known element or man-made material, and is currently unable to be destroyed by all known current means (excluding destruction by SCP-4437 itself). SCP-4437 has eight eyes and eight legs as well as two 6 ft. long fangs, but does not possess venom glands to use the fangs to secrete. The fangs are so large, however, that SCP-4437 can kill it's victims by simply gouging the fangs into them. When brought near the web-like substance secreted from the abdomen of SCP-4437 subjects reported to hear what sounded like tortured screams.
Experimentation Log 1: Date: April 7, 20██
Subject D-2418 is a Spanish Male convicted of 4 accounts of 1st degree murder and illegal crossing of the U.S. border. D-2418 was made to enter the containment area of SCP-4437. Within 6 seconds of entry, SCP-4437 noticed D-2418 and moved towards him. SCP-4437 stuck the edges of both it's fangs into the back of D-2418. The eyes of D-2418 began to roll back into his head, while simultaneously his body color began to fade into a mixed shade of grey. SCP-4437 then removed it's fangs from the unmoving body of D-2418, and a researcher reported that the eyes of SCP-4437 glowed a faint red, but this is currently unconfirmed. Guards then fired 8 tranquilizing darts into the thorax of SCP-4437, rendering it unconscious so the corpse of D-2418 could be removed from the containment area. SCP-4437 regained consciousness approximately 4 hours later.

Research Operation Log 1: Date: April 16, 20██
6 researchers entered the containment area of SCP-4437 after 13 tranquilizing darts were fired into it. Researcher ████ █████ used a medical scalpel to cut a 2 x 2 ft. opening of the lower abdomen of SCP-4437. As soon as this act was performed, a grey-ish blue smoke-like substance rushed out of the abdomen of SCP-4437 at an unknown, but extremely fast rate. This substance made contact with the face of Researcher ████ █████ , making him fall onto his side with an expression of pure terror. Approx. 7 seconds after first opening the abdomen, the tissue of SCP-4437 automatically regenerated, stopping the flow of the substance. It is currently unknown if this is due to the substance SCP-4437 seems to consume. Researcher ████ █████ died 9 hours later, an autopsy of him revealed the cause of death was Cardiac Arrest.
