Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5062 is currently impossible to contain. Instances of SCP-5062 appear at random and have no noticeable pattern to predict next appearance. All comments made by SCP-5062-1 are to be deleted as soon as possible and accounts are to be deleted. SCP-5062-1 instances are to be tracked down as soon as possible following manifestation via means of IP tracking, contacting ISP providers, and hacking into SCP-5062-1 accounts.
Once found, SCP-5062-1 instances are to be terminated using incendiary weapons. If any witnesses are present, Class-A Amnestics must be administered. In the case that an SCP-5062 instance successfully lures a victim, said victim must be tracked down and sent to a facility. Victim is now to be referred to as SCP-5062-2.
SCP-5062-2 is to be placed under study until deceased. Once deceased, body is to be incinerated.
Description: SCP-5062 instances are comments on several social media platforms, so far including Twitter, Instagram, Twitch, Reddit, and TikTok. These comments initially originating on the video social media platform, YouTube.
These comments are made by instances of SCP-5062-1 and seem to target smaller content creators, but may also appear on posts of larger influencers. Comments are all similar in composition, spelling, punctuation, and always include the phrase, "wanna be friends?" These comments seem to be posted by accounts that seem legitimate, that have sometimes existed for years and have multiple posts filled with thorough captions and information. They also include photos of ██████. All accounts of SCP-5062-1 will match data from human beings from around the world, but have major differences in life events recorded on the account. It is theorized that these are the accounts of previous SCP-5062 victims that have been taken over by SCP-5062-1 instances.
Any person who interacts with SCP-5062 or an account of SCP-5062-1 will become a victim and have their account compromised. Attempts to view compromised accounts have been unsuccessful and will result in a blank page. Accounts remain like this for 72 hours.
