Special Containment Procedures:
[SCP-4107 is to be contained using an electromagnetically suspended sphere of gas in a cubical chamber 10m by 10m by 10m. In case of a failure of the gas suspension, the air pressure within the chamber is artificially increased using an externally powered air pump, but this pump is only effective until the pump reaches its maximum air pressure output. This has been shown to happen within 2 hours of the electromagnetic field failing, so able site personnel are required to wear Type-003 Hazmat Suits and repair the systems as soon as possible. If a breach occurs due to a dual failing of the containment equipment, personnel throughout the site are required to wear Type-003 Hazmat Suits until SCP-4107 is contained using handheld electromagnet wands.
SCP-4107's chamber is to be entered by Level 2 personnel and up with permission granted by at least 3 Level 3 on-site personnel. This permission is granted for repairs to the cell. The chamber us also allowed to be entered by D-Class subjects with permission from an on-site Level 4 scientist overseeing an experiment on SCP-4107 to participate in experiments on SCP-4107. Level 3 personnel and up do not require permission to enter SCP-4107's chamber. All personnel are required to wear a Type-003 Hazmat Suit for their own protection.]
Description:
[SCP-4107 is a suspension of an unknown solid mass in the air that is not identifiable as a known element or compound. SCP-4107 has the ability to alter its chemical makeup by stealing electrons from any nearby molecule. The suspension that it takes the form of is very polar, and thus it can be manipulated very easily by magnets. The Type-003 Hazmat Suits that are manufactured to protect personnel emit their own magnetic field to deter SCP-4107.
SCP-4107 has been observed during the experiments by Dr. ███████ to aggressively ████ any object within its reach to steal its electrons to grow larger. When presented with a human subject, SCP-4107 will ████ the subject and cause many cancerous growths resulting in an eventual termination by medical staff to prevent carcinogens from entering the local atmosphere. SCP-4107 has been shown to be unable to gain consciousness when influenced by a magnetic field. SCP-4107 was recovered in ███████, New Mexico, United States. 9 personnel total died in the recovery of SCP-4107.]
