Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5120 is to be kept within a standard containment chamber guarded by at least one member of site security. Testing involving SCP-5120 must be approved and supervised by a minimum of 1 Level 3 personnel. The SCP-5120s containment chamber is to be filled with water and lake flora to simulate SCP-5120s natural environment.
Description: SCP-5120 is a humanoid creature with the ability to breathe under the water. His natural environments are deep lakes and swamps. SCP-5120 is known in many cultures as waterman (In old Slavic stories called "Vodnik"). There are 9 of SCP-5120s contained safely. The research team estimates, there are more than 100 SCP-5120s still living in remote areas with a low human population. First SCP-5120 was contained in 1983 by the Mobile Task Force unit after multiple unexplained disappearances around the river "Dunaj" in Slovakia and Hungary. The human-like creature was seen by locals, walking into the river while holding a young female.
History: In Slavic mythology: Vodník, водяно́й, Hastrman, Wassermann, Nix or Waterman is a greenish creature, with long hair, covered in algae and muck. Vodnik can drown people and animals, also destroy dams and watermills when angered. Russians believed that Vodniks have a leader. Old man with abilities to form new rivers and lakes. Vodniks have hard and strong skin. They can drown people when they happen to swim in their territory very easily, thanks to their weight and ability to breathe in the water.

3.9.2020 in the abandoned part of the Slovakian military base "VÚ 7227 Stropkovce" located near the river "Dunaj". A Member of the guarding unit reported a strange creature in a flooded basement to the command of "VÚ 7227". This incident was not taken seriously, a fireteam of "VÚ 7227" was sent to the scene right after finishing tactical condition training at 14:45-3.9.2020 while the sighting was reported at 04:10-2.9.2020. The fireteam arrived at the abandoned building at 15:05-3.9.2020. The fireteam searched the area and found SCP-XXXX-10 hiding in the flooded room. The fireteam fired 3 times at the creature with a 9mm pistol and left the area. The building is now secured with a QRF unit. Mobile Task Force was sent to the scene. Authorities are analyzing the footage of SCP-5120-10.
