The place where Void does terrible writing
Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be encased in foam to prevent accidental shattering and stored in a standard Safe-Class anomalous items containment and storage unit, in an appropriately labelled drawer.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a 2cm x 2cm x 12cm vial with a rounded bottom (SCP-XXXX-1) and a cork cap (SCP-XXXX-2), engraved with a 6 sided die, with symbols in an unknown language in place of numbers on its sides. The vial has a half-torn adhesive label attached to it, the label reads:
(3) "Vial of Somewhere Else"
Do not:
With the word "Do" being underlined with a black permanent marker, and the word "not" being crossed out by that same marker.
SCP-XXXX-1 contains a light green phosphorescent liquid (SCP-XXXX-3), that, except for these aesthetic changes, appears to have the same properties as water.
Anyone who ingests any amount of SCP-XXXX-3 will be instantly moved to another, -seemingly random, location on earth, while this effect is mostly random, it has been observed to favor famous locations or landmarks, testing has shown that it is most likely based on the user's knowledge of the location, attempts to reliably control the destination of the teleport are still ongoing.
Every day at midnight, if any of SCP-XXXX-3 has been consumed or otherwise removed from SCP-XXXX-1, it is refilled. During this time, the engraving on SCP-XXXX-2 glows bright green.
It should also be noted that all attempts to store SCP-XXXX-3 in any other container than SCP-XXXX-2 have been unsuccessful, as any SCP-XXXX-3 remaining outside SCP-XXXX-2 at midnight evaporates rapidly, and the gases released from said evaporation disappear into nothing shortly afterwards.
Researcher Note: Due to the limited amount of information we had about this anomaly, most of the tests consist of us trying anything and everything we could think of, as a result, logs where nothing new is learnt or that don't contain useful information have not been included in this document, they can be provided upon request if necessary.
Test A-2 - ██/██/2020
Subject: D-████45
Procedure: Subject was given a tracker and ordered to drink a small test sample of SCP-XXXX-3 that had been prepared in advance.
Results: Subject vanished and was located via tracker at the top of the empire state building, was later detained by foundation personnel while attempting to remove their tracker, there were no witnesses to the subject's sudden appearance.
Researcher Note: This test was repeated ███ times with different subjects, and different amounts of SCP-XXXX-3, in order to gather data, this lead to the discovery that the teleportation effect favors famous areas, but the range doesn't seem affected by the amount of SCP-XXXX-3 ingested. On 3 separate occasions, the subject was moved to the moon.
Test B-█ - ██/██/2020
Subject: D-████78
Procedure: Subject was given a tracker and ordered to use a pipette to put one drop of SCP-XXXX-3 in each of his eyes.
Results: Subject did not disappear, but reported seeing the "north pole", when asked to clarify, the subject said he was unable to see the room he was in anymore, and instead saw a snowy area. Subject also reported feeling "cold, but not as much as [they] should be", and could hear the wind.
The effect wore off after exactly 1 minute.
Researcher Note: Further testing showed that subjects could not affect anything in their new location, only observe it.
