Special Containment Procedures: Maintain a 2-metre distance between SCP-5567 and any electrical source. Cross-testing with SCPs that require electricity is discouraged, for the safety of said SCPs.
Description: SCP-5567 takes the form of a ████████ rechargeable alkaline battery. Near the positive end of the battery, there is a QR code. Upon scanning it, the researcher in question was redirected to the main page of the Chilean website.
When within 2 metres of an electrical source, regardless of objects blocking the path, the electricity will flow into the positive end of the battery as if there were a wire connecting them.
SCP-5567 was initially discovered by Brazilian maintenance staff at the sight of the Itaipu Dam, minutes into the 2009 Brazil and Paraguay blackout. The maintenance staff discovered 5567 when they investigated one of the Dam's transformers. Upon being interviewed, two of the staff reported that their equipment ceased to function, at which point the battery caught one of their eyes.
