Special Containment Procedures: scp xxxx is to be separated into ten seed canisters which are are to be climate controlled at a temperature of -15 degrees celcius and stored in a moistureless environment miniature biological containment canister based chamber.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a collection of 2781 identical weight and dimension wheat seeds of healthy appearance, SCP-XXXX shows no anomalous properties until the introduction of any liquid over the quantity of 5ml at which point it will cease intaking liquid and begin to grow in a unique pattern specific to that type of liquid, distilled water for example always producing wheat plants.

Unlike their normal counterparts or anomalous growth of flora, these plants produced through hydration of SCP-XXXX seeds will grow at an increased rate on average taking 72 hours to reach maturity, once mature the SCP-XXXX produced plant will typically begin to produce grain, seed, root crop or fruit with certain liquid not following this rule given testing data, it’s to be noted that matured SCP-XXXX may suffer a state of withering once a quantity of produce is harvested from the SCP-XXXX plant, other such samples may not.

Recovery Log:
SCP - XXXX was recovered on 18th of February 2010, after reports of a “Mythical all crop” was made by Faroe Island locals through word of mouth. After this information was brought to the foundations attention, a recovery team was sent to the rumoured location of a Mr. A[redacted]. The individual was noticed to be in possession multiple relics of vastly different time periods and cultures. He was also in ownership of multiple notes on SCP-XXXX and a plethora on other subjects. All notes, but those concerning SCP-XXXX, were redacted and archived on the base that they were mere other interest to the self proclaimed Scientist, Mr. A[redacted].

Other Scientist claiming to be part of Mr. A[redacted] were brought in for questioning and nothe of exceptional abilities were later given temporary positions at the SCP Foundation. Those who did not live up to SCP Foundation standards and Civilians were also brought in for questioning and then given Class B amnestics. All known and discovered instances of SCP-XXXX were confiscated and brought to biological flora research site 57 where appropriate containment measures were developed.

Mr. A[redacted] : No, I am not responsible for the creation of the seeds.

Dr. Miller : Can you tell us when you came into possession of these seeds then Mr. A[redacted]

Mr. A[redacted] : The seeds have been in my family for generations. I was only allowed to have them after my father's departure that was able to start my research. they were an old family heirloom in a sense.

Dr. Miller : In what sense Mr. A[redacted]?

Mr. A[redacted] : My father told me that they were a gift from the heavens for our family found by our ancestor long before the islands were populated as much as it is now..

Dr. Miller : Go on…

Mr. A[redacted] : He also told me that the “gift from heaven” was only for those of our blood and sharing their produce would bring ruin upon the family. Personally I didn’t believe him always thought he was a selfish old bastard, even when I was young, threatened to resow me on more than one occasion, said I came out wrong. He didn’t even let me play with them until he died!

Dr. Miller : What do you mean, resow, Mr. A[redacted]?

Mr. A[redacted] : I Come from the seed Dr. Miller. Like my father and his father before him, all going back to my ancestor who discovered the seeds in the first place.

Dr. Miller : Elaborate Mr A[redacted].

Mr. A[redacted] : Why Dr. Miller, i’d have thought it obvious from my wording, i’m a clone of a clone of myself, a cycle repeating back to when the original me found them in the first place. I suppose he was correct about not sharing, what was it, a month since I allowed some of the seeds crops outwards into the commoners that I damned myself to sitting before you, funny in a sense.

Dr. Miller : Mr A[redacted] If you are aware of the consequences of informing civilians of your… origin, why inform us of it?

Mr. A[redacted] : I’m old doctor, i’m old, tired and don’t want another of myself coming into existence by my hand.

Mr. A[redacted] : All I ask is some comfort before it happens.

Dr. Miller : Before… what, happens exactly?

Mr. A[redacted] : Your foundation will know it when you see the decay on my body.

Following this log, Mr. A[redacted] was confined temporarily to a standard humanoid containment, approximately two months later Mr. A[redacted] suffered a massive brain aneurysm followed by an accompanying seizure, by the time medical personnel arrived Mr. A[redacted]’s physical body decayed into a mass of viscous pale paste, paste later identified as extremely concentrated mass of wheat gluten.
