Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be contained in a bulletproof glass case as it contains no anomalous effects unless it is activated on purpose. Approval of at least two (2) Level 4 personnel is required for the SCP to be removed from it's containment area for testing purposes.

Description: SCP-XXXX at first glance appears to be a regular DVD with no special appearance, the DVD can be hardly distinguished from another regular DVD

When the SCP is inserted into a DVD Player, an 18-21 minutes TV show interview about the person who inserted it in the DVD player with a live audience in front of them is taking place on the monitor connected to the DVD Player. The host appears to be a white skinned blonde man, 1.87m in height of European descent. The person who inserted the DVD is then welcomed by the host and SCP-XXXX-1 appears behind the stage waving confidently and smiling to the crowd while going to take a seat in front of the host, SCP-XXXX-1 is an exact copy of the person who inserted the DVD. The person watching doesn't behave unusual and it's just intrigued to see themselves on tv.

The host then proceeds to ask SCP-XXXX-1 personal questions and trying to find it's insecurities, deepest desires and secrets while SCP-XXXX-1 acts like it's usual for it to happen and answers happily while smiling at the crowd once again.

After the interview is almost over, depending on the person's who inserted the DVD emotional state, a number of various events can occur. Results from previous tests:

Depression: The host talks to SCP-XXXX-1, making it feel better.
Suicidal: The host pulls out a gun and shoots SCP-XXXX-1 in the chest area multiple times.
Happy: The host asks what is SCP-XXXX-1 secret to a happy and successful life, which then SCP-XXXX-1 responds with usual activities, like going to the gym and finding new hobbies.
Epicaricacy: The host is being shamed on tv by SCP-XXXX-1 the crowd is laughing and the host has a mental breakdown, running to the backstage crying.
Insecurity: SCP-XXXX-1 stops smiling and feels unsure about itself, acting weird while the crowd finds it amusing.

After the interview is over, the crowd is cheering and the curtains drop while the DVD is removed from the DVD player. The person who inserted the DVD, depending on it's emotional state can feel a bit down, suicidal, happy or violent for a few weeks or even months.

Addendum XXXX.1 - Discovery:

SCP-XXXX was discovered when a police investigation about a massacre at a live TV show that was reported by a family member of the killer saying they were watching an old DVD that he claims they found it in the ████ forest on a camping trip.

The police investigated the house, replayed the DVD using a remote control and witnessed the killing for themselves but no one seems to recognize the host of the show, no one was declared missing and the stage doesn't look familiar to any of them, after more research done by the authorities, no one in the crowd were found that they even existed, neither the host and the show. After the anomalous incident happened, undercover agents were deployed to extract the DVD for research purposes to decide if the DVD had anomalous proprieties, the witnesses were given class-b amnestics.

Addendum XXXX.2 - Experiment log (transcription of video footage)

Test subject: D-3432; Male; 40
Supervising researcher: Dr. ██████
Location: Containment cell-K3 (researcher and staff observing from one-way mirror), Site-28

Dr. ██████: Subject D-3432, please pick up the DVD placed on the table and insert it in the DVD player on your right.
Subject D-3432 then proceeds to follow the instructions, after the DVD was inserted in the DVD player, a recorded live show plays, the host greets SCP-XXXX-1 on the stage.
Dr. ██████: Curious, I remember that the undercover agents told me that the guest was wearing a blue jacket, red pants and shoes, but this time is different. Wait, is that subject D-3432? Interesting.
D-3432: Shush already, I'm on TV!

SCP-XXXX-1 is then asked by the host several questions:
The host: So how are you doing today, Nate?
SCP-XXXX-1: Oh just amazing, when you invited me to your show I was like "no way this is happening, man i'm so excited" and what can I say, I still am.
The host: So nate, is it true that you really killed that 3 year old by stepping on his neck?
SCP-XXXX-1: I really don't want to take credit, but hell yeah, it was me pal!
Crowd cheers, the host and SCP-XXXX-1 have a laugh
The host: That's crazy
SCP-XXXX-1: I know isn't it?
The host: Sure as hell it is, Nate, oh but that's all the time we have, I am very happy I could have you on my show. Ladies and gentleman, let's get a round of applause for Paul Nathan!
Crowd cheers and applauds SCP-XXXX-1
SCP-XXXX-1 is then given an unidentified assault rifle by the host, SCP-XXXX-1 then proceeds to shoot everyone in the room including the host, after that the curtains drop and 3 people cheering can be heard in the dead crowd.

Subject D-3432 was then escorted from the containment cell by 2 security guards, on his way to his cell, D-3432 started to violently beat up one of the security guard, taking him by surprise, the other security guard shot D-3432 in the back multiple times, subject D-3432 was confirmed dead and incinerated.

Dr. ██████: Subject D-82313, please insert the DVD on the table into the computer's DVD Player, but do not open the file.
Subject D-82313 follows instructions
Dr. ██████: Now please, copy the DVD into an mp.4 file on the desktop.
Subject D-82313 follows instructions
Dr. ██████: Take the DVD out and then play the copied file.
After Subject D-82313 follows instructions, a corrupted video was replaced with the actual recorded TV show, a high pitched fast sound was taking place over and over, the video file was 43 hours long, The sounds was given a lower pitch and slowed down by 750%, the decoded sound is a male voice saying: "Hi and welcome to short night talk with your host, Duncan Williams Jones!" over and over again. The voice matches the host's
Dr. ██████: How do you feel?
D-82313: What do you mean? Is there something supposed to happen?
Dr. ██████: We don't know that, that's why I'm asking you
D-82313: Pretty fine, I guess.
Subject D-82313 was instructed to copy the video multiple times, the audio files were decoded the same way but everyone of them had a different name for the host.
