Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5002 is to be contained within a solid containment area with sound proof walls and is to be monitored by surveillance for unauthorized personnel. If necessary, SCP-5002 is to be contained within Site-██. Those diagnosed with auditory cancer from SCP-5002 are to be treated with Class-B amnestics and chemotherapy and are to be monitored 72 hours on surveillance.
Description: SCP-5002 is a circular piece of metal with a fluorescent light bulb. Upon contact with SCP-5002, it will begin to sound an alarm that gets louder and louder. There is no maximum volume for this. The longer personnel remains in contact with SCP-5002, the bigger the radius grows for hearing loss or hearing cancer. The radius of SCP-5002's effects can reach up to 1,400 miles wide and even higher. SCP-5002 has the ability for memetic effects on human beings especially within the hearing. Subject: D-13980: Male, 22, no history of violent crime.

Location: Containment chamber 5002, Site- ██
Subject is instructed to enter containment chamber 5002. After long term hesitation, subject follows instructions and SCP-5002's effects immediately begin to take place. Subject remains in place and says, "There's nothing wrong. I don't know why you think this is dangerous." SCP-5002's volume increases and increases until it reached 500 decibels. Instantly, a 750 mile radius in the facility has been effected. Subject begins to scream from pain. However, Dr. B█████ continues the test. The mile radius has a growth to 1700 miles and reaches all of the Light and Moderate Containment Zones. After 10 minutes, the entire facility of Site-██ has been effected and is either diagnosed with hearing cancer or hearing loss. Subject is taken out of containment chamber 5002 and is diagnosed with chemotherapy for auditory cancer. All personnel in the facility have been effected by this radius. A breach was possible for this radius to spread to communities in this world.
