Special Containment Procedures: As of right now, there is no known way to eradicate or contain SCP-XXXX. Individuals who have been exposed to SCP-XXXX and experience any symptoms must be taken into foundation custody. The only known method to neutralize the symptoms of SCP-XXXX on any specific individual is to have said individual confess to any wrongdoings or in other words "sins".
Description: SCP-XXXX appears to be a contagious virus with indeterminate origin. While SCP-XXXX can infect any individual exposed to it, symptoms only become apparent to individuals who have committed any wrongdoings and refuse to disclose of it. Symptoms of SCP-XXXX are typically moderate, but seem to augment when victims experience SCP-XXXX-1.
The following is a list of SCP-XXXX symptoms.
3-4 weeks after being infected: pain areas (especially in muscles), resulting in headaches or migraine. Coughing fits common.
1-2 months after being infected: Fatigue, malaise, or body ache. Victims will begin to experience SCP-XXXX-1 at this time.
3 months after being infected: Coughing up blood, sleep deprivation, and chest pressure. SCP-XXXX-1 appearing to victims almost every other day.
4 months after being infected: Shortness of breath, difficulty breathing. Occasional nausea or vomiting. Victims won't experience SCP-XXXX-1 as often, but will begin to subconsciously engage in religious activities, including, but not limited to, reading and taping bible pages to the walls, keeping crucifixes at least 5'ft within proximity, and shouting bible verses when experiencing SCP-XXXX-1.
SCP-XXXX-1 is a roughly 6'ft (182 cm) presumably male humanoid entity with an appearance not too dissimilar to that of the "Devil", a religious figure often perceived as the personification of evil. Victims of SCP-XXXX claim to see SCP-XXXX-1 as hallucinations or impersonating family members, as well as any other individuals victims are familiar with. Symptoms of SCP-XXXX become drastically more intense when victims experience SCP-XXXX-1, sometimes resulting in coughing up blood or becoming paralyzed.
