Item #: SCP-RPGX
Object Class: Safe
Standard Containment Procedure: SCP-RPGX is to be kept in a standard storage locker located in Site-██. Access to SCP-RPGX requires Level 2 clearance or above.
Description: SCP-RPGX is a read-only-memory compact disc with a radius measuring 120 mm. It is contained in a container with a white cover that has the phrase "Tale: the ultimate rpg experience" written on it in clean handwriting. This SCP has no anomalous effects on its own, however, upon loading the disc into any standard computer with a CD-ROM drive, it will install a folder containing the files for a game entitled "Tale".
Tale is a video game that recognizes, adapts to and changes it's contents according to the player and their play-style. It is also capable of recognizing events occurring in the outside world, and can even respond to real-world player actions.
Tale is capable of actively changing its gameplay, story, music or other content in order to better fit the player. Tale essentially has infinite content, presumably generating its own assets. Despite looking in to the game's files, these assets are currently unobtainable.
Tale also limits each player to only 1 save file at a time, and if someone plays it right after another person stops, they will not be able to access the earlier player's save, only their own.
In the game's files, there are two folders: one labeled "Replays" and another labeled "Epilogues". The Replays folder contains videos of previous player sessions, often highlighting critical moments in the story. The Epilogues folder contains text documents corresponding to game sessions, each one containing a paragraph or more telling of the events that happened after the document's associated session's story ended.
There are a few reoccurring characters in the game that have a tendency to appear in multiple sessions, usually interacting with the player at multiple points in the session.
<I need to come up with these characters. I already have a few ideas, like a rather depressed expy of Zacharie from OFF. Of course, it all needs work.>
Item #: SCP-CCCC
Object class: Euclid
Standard Containment Procedure: SCP-CCCC is to be
Description: SCP-CCCC appears to be a female, mostly humanoid creature approx. 2.13 m (~ 7 ft) in height, and weighing around 116.12 kg (256 lbs). She does not appear to have any visible feet, as it's legs taper down to a point. Her arms end in a flat end, with small, thin appendages approximating fingers around its rim. She wears all black clothing, and has a scarf around her neck.
Rather than a normal human head, SCP-CCCC has what appears to be a large, white, squarish <Is there a better word for that?> C-clamp shaped head, the back end of which is connected directly to the neck. Despite lacking a proper face, SCP-CCCC is still capable of observing its surroundings, consuming food, and communicating with others.
SCP-CCCC is fully sentient, and is completely aware of her unusual appearance. It has an acute interest in her surroundings, and is prone to wandering about the site in fascination. SCP-CCCC is usually willing to participate in experiments and interviews, and on occasion has been heard saying that it's "better than life back home".
<And around here I will include an interview talking about her old life and how sucky it actually was. Probably.>
Item #: SCP-CUBE
Object Class: Keter
Standard Containment Procedure: SCP-CUBE is to be contained in Cell ███ at Site-██. It is not no be removed at any time, except for testing. Any instance of SCP-CUBE-1 is to be terminated as swiftly as possible.
Description: SCP-CUBE is a small cube of unknown material with a volume of .5 cubic meters. Its surface is covered in constantly changing geometric designs of varying color.
SCP-CUBE is capable of causing creatures of unknown origin to appear within a radius of approx. 23 meters (25.15 yd's). These creatures, hereafter referred to as SCP-CUBE-1, usually have an appearance that is best described as "poorly made" humans. Instances of SCP-CUBE-1 are extremely hostile to any living persons nearby them. If they encounter someone, they will ruthlessly chase them down and attack until the target is eliminated. Although strong, Instances of SCP-CUBE-1 are not invulnerable, and can be killed via conventional means. Upon death, SCP-CUBE-1 will eject all its blood from its body before drying up and turning to dust. SCP-CUBE-1's blood is mildly corrosive, and will evaporate within 2 hours of leaving the body.
SCP-CUBE has been shown to be fully sentient, and is capable of telepathic communication. It refers to itself as "The Virus of the Universe", and speaks of it's surroundings primarily using analogies to computer data or code. It holds most lifeforms in high disregard, and often tells any nearby personnel to either let it kill them or to commit suicide. All of these requests are to be ignored at all times.
<A sapient garden inhabited by small, winged humanoid creatures that primarily eat insects.>
