NOTICE FROM THE DIRECTOR OF SITE 203 REGARDING SCP-XXXX
The following database page has undergone several revisions over the course of research. It has been decided that in the best interests of foundation personnel, all previous iterations of SCP-XXXX's page are kept available for the reference of future researchers.

(NOT MANY CONTAINMENT PROCEDURES OR UNDERSTANDING)
Special Containment Procedures: Local weather, particularly perspiration levels, are to be monitored 24/7 at the local. A team of five security personnel are to remain on-site at all times. During periods when SCP-XXXX's anomalous properties are activated, two guards are to block the entrances of SCP-XXXX, disguised as Glasgow City Police Officers; A further two are to patrol the fences surrounding SCP-XXXX; the final member of staff is to continue monitoring weather patterns, and to report any changes in perspiration. If members of the public attempt to enter SCP-XXXX during this time, entrance guards are to explain that due to flooding, the path is closed. Civilians who refuse to co-operate are to be detained until activation ceases, or tranquillised in the case of physical resistance in the prevention of making contact with SCP-XXXX-1 through 4. Aside from periods of activation, civilians are permitted to cross SCP-XXXX at will.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a section of bike path within the city of Glasgow connecting ██████ Place and ████████ Street, presenting anomalous properties during periods of heavy rain (above 5.0 mm/hour). During these periods, SCP-XXXX enters an 'activated' state, and the phantasmal forms of 4 human cyclists reveal of differing genders and appearances themselves. During this time, these apparitions (labelled SCP-XXXX-1 through 4) can be found to cycle across the length of SCP-XXXX, materialising at the other end of the path once they reach an entrance. Despite the fact that passing through instances of SCP-XXXX-1 through 4 has been reported as 'uncomfortable' by researchers, there are no adverse effects through direct contact. Despite the fact that the instances of SCP-XXXX-1 through 4 have differing appearances, each instance shares the following characteristics:
- Shadowed eyes
- Scottish accents
- Apparent resentment towards corporeal beings on the path
Discovery: SCP-XXXX was discovered on a routine investigation by field agent Margaret Stewart on 09/07/2020 after overhearing a conversation in the [REDACTED] pub. A local identifying himself as Hamish loudly expressed to the bartender that on his journey from his home towards the pub in heavy rain, three cyclists, which would have otherwise colided with him, passed straight through and told him to 'get tae fuck'. Margret proceeded to follow standard anomolous activity investigation protocol, finding the path to be fully occupied by the aforementioned apparitions. Prior to reporting back to site 203, Margaret proceeded to perform an impromptu interview with SCP-XXXX-2, identifying itself as John.
*Addendum:**
Interviewed: SCP-XXXX-2
Interviewer: Field Agent Margaret Stewart
Foreword: Certain moments of the following interview were garbled due to both the intensity of the weather and the insufficiency of recording equipment found on hand. The interview was cut-off due to a decrease in perspiration.
<Begin Log, 20:08, 09/07/2020>
Agent Stewart: Excuse me-
SCP-XXXX-2: [Garbled]
Agent Stewart: Excuse me, could you slow down sir?
SCP-XXXX-2: No.
Agent Stewart: Pardon-
SCP-XXXX-2: I can't slow down. Get tae fuck.
Agent Stewart pauses mid conversation and attempts to touch SCP-XXXX-2, her hand phases through their form, to its discomfort.
SCP-XXXX-2: Fuckin', quit that shite! You want me to topple?
Agent Stewart: Do you feel that?SCP-XXXX-2: No, but it's distracting as all fuck.
