Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is contained in a soundproof, airtight metal briefcase. This briefcase is to be kept in a secure room at Site-██, with a lethally armed Level 2 security personnel guarding the door at all times.
If SCP-XXXX is found to be missing from its containment, it is to be transferred to a more secure facility at Site-██ upon being secured. Use of lethal force to regain possession of SCP-XXXX is admissible.
If any other persons than Personnel with Level 4 Clearance are discovered to have listened to the contents of SCP-XXXX, they are to be administered Class A Amnesiac, however in dire situations use of lethal force is admissible.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a vinyl record 0.3048 meters in diameter. Where a label would usually be the phrase "If you're not listening, you're not learning" is etched. When it was discovered, SCP-XXXX was packaged in a paper sleeve, which has since been discarded.
SCP-XXXX will record any sounds that it "hears". It has been observed to have the approximate hearing abilities of a healthy adult human. It has been estimated that SCP-XXXX has nearly ██████ hours of stored audio, demonstrating an unlimited capacity.
Around ██ of those ██████ hours of audio are a male voice speaking in an unknown and indecipherable language. All persons (Save one, see Addendum XXXX-03), who have been exposed to this audio have reported hallucinations of a biped canine, around 2 meters in height, waiting outside of buildings and following them when outside.
The remaining ████ hours are a collection of stored conversations that SCP-XXXX has stored. Most of these conversations have not proven to contain any information, however some [DATA EXPUNGED].
SCP-XXXX first came into Foundation custody on ██/██/19██. Its containment was not soundproof until ██/██/20██. It contains ███ hours of audio recorded from the Foundation, all predating it being moved to a soundproof containment.
Three tests were conducted in relation to SCP-XXXX from ██/██/19██ to ██/██/20██, on three different subjects. All three experiments were conducted by Dr. ███ █████.
Test A - ██/██/19██
Subject: William ███████. Subject is a Caucasian male 1.79 meters in height. Subject is of average build with no extraneous physiological history.
Procedure: Subject was exposed to the first ██ hours of SCP-XXXX. Supervisors of the test were not listening to the audio.
Results: Subject described the audio as "a deep male voice speaking in a strange language". The subject did not notice the audio having any anomalous effects.
Analysis: Other than recording audio, SCP-XXXX does not have any anomalous effects.

Addendum XXXX-01-A: The photograph presented to Dr. ███ █████ did not contain the creature described by the subject. It depicted simply an empty front porch viewed through shutters. Extensive analysis of the photo did not reveal anything.
