SCP-XXXX was found holding a handmade cross. The SCP was in a terrible state when staff arrived, and was easily contained.

Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Keter

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX must be kept in a 5m x 5m x 4m water pool, in the center of a 50m³ containment site. No other liquids are allowed to be taken into the containment site and no drinks should be carried or ingested on the western area of site-██, where the containment zone is located.

The pool in the containment zone must be equipped with thermal regulators capable of freezing the water. In case of a containment breach on site-██, the pool must be frozen to prevent SCP-XXXX from fleeing. The pool must also be monitorized all day. If the SCP's body is missing a limb or it's starting to disappear, all of site-██ must be locked down until the missing limb is found. If the search fail, level 4 personnel can initiate order Nº 66-██, and every Class D personnel must be terminated. Order 66-██ was already used since SCP-XXXX was contained, on the incident DP-66-A (see addendum XXXX-B).

Dr. R█████'s request for containmente procedures update: Every staff that are involved with the containing or research of SCP-XXXX must have their files troroughly revised. If any sign of criminal past is found, the subject must be removed from the area and mustn't approach the western part of site-██.

Description: SCP-XXXX appears to be a disfugurated and bloated male humanoid, with moldy skin and deep black eyes, wearing a torn apart England policeman suit. Traces of decomposion and exposed bones can be found all over the SCP's body. Researchers and legists of the foundation recognised the injuries on SCP-XXXX as those found on people who commited suicide by jumping off bridges. Its bloated and and moldy appearance is due to the fact that the SCP prefers to and will only exist on water or similar liquids.

SCP-XXXX have the anomalous ability of moving between liquids, by slowly deconstructing parts of its own body, which will soon materialize in another liquid source. The SCP can also dismantle its body and transport diferent limbs to different water bodies. The entity won't show hostility against most of the foundation personnel. However, it appears to have a peculiar hatred for the Class-Ds, most of which were former criminals and have been setenced to death before being recruited by the foundation. After few tests, researchers of the foundation observed that SCP-XXXX was only hostile against former murderers, drug dealers or [REDACTED].

The SCP also has also the capability of sentient speech, but can only do so inside water. Every night, before entering an "asleep" state, SCP-XXXX can be heard singing a song, which the staff members reported to be a bedtime lullaby for children. Further analysis of the entity backstory required.

Addendum XXXX-A: Origin

SCP-XXXX was found during a investigation of a series of drownings on [REDACTED], England, on date ██-██-20██. The local investigation team believed that someone or something was murdering local criminals and drug dealers by drowning them on the city's river, more specifically next to the ██████ Bridge. The bridge was known for homing several homeless people and being the meeting spot for drug dealers. The SCP was found under the bridge, by a the Agent █████████ ████, a member of the foundation staff infiltrated in the investigation.

Agent █████████ ████ stated that: "I only knew the body was an anomaly because the creature was… 'Trying' to sing some sort of lullaby (although he was a very bad singer). The SCP was either 'asleep' or too weak to resist containment. I called the Foundation containment task unit, they arrived 15 minutes late due to storm, but the SCP was still unconscious when contained. " And the head researcher Dr. R█████ added: "It is quite rare the occasions where a Keter-class SCP is so easily contained. After the incident with Dr. P████, I personally requested that every staff in charge for the SCP have their files revised." (see Addendum XXXX-B, Incident DP-P████).
