Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept inside a concrete and rebarb 3 meter3 structure with a 1 kilometer containment area around it with Scranton Reality Anchors (SRA) placed at each corner of the containment area.
If a teleportation event occur with SCP-XXXX location will need to be immediately found and the SCP contain with procedures said above.
Anyone found looking at or touch the SCP or anyone affected by the SCP will be given a Class A amnestics then move to Site ██ until further notice.
Uses of anti-memetic contact lenses, glasses, and gloves will be provided for handling this SCP.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a diamond shaped red looking sign with unknown wording in braille and white text.1 When looking at SCP-XXXX directly or touching SCP-XXXX multiple auditory and visual hallucinations will happen with a broadcasting of advanced optical illusions and full screened TV static2 on occasion. SCP-XXXX will on occasion teleport to random location. If a person looks into the eyes or touches another person only through their hand the properties of SCP-XXXX are forwarded to that person who touch them (See Addendum). A person does not need to be aware of SCP-XXXX to dream of it, due to SCP-XXXX giving out a broadcasting state in mile radius. People who were inside this radius will be able to dream of SCP-XXXX until a Class A amnestic is given even if they leave the mile radius.
SCP-XXXX was discovered when a town by the name of [redacted] somewhere in [redacted] had many cases of people dreaming a sign of unknown origin and waking with headache. The woodlands near the town said to "drive people mad".
MTF team ████████ was in charge of finding and removing SCP finding that it can't be moved by currently know forces.
On June 25, ████ the SCP moved to a different location by teleportation. Finding that it moved to a rural area in [redacted]. Causing people of a small town to go insane with its effects.
Addendum: According to a handful of D Class personnel dreaming of SCP-XXXX will have the same effect while asleep but when awake only a migraine like headache will occur. Looking into a person's eyes after a dream attack will not result in memetic forwarding properties seen in cases of direct contact with SCP-XXXX.
