SCP-XXXX A ballad of balloons

Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object class: Euclid

Special containment procedures: A 3 Mile perimeter must be maintained around SCP-XXXXs containment area. This perimeter may not be breached under any circumstances. If any persons are noted to have entered this perimeter they are to be terminated and decapitated on sight (see addendum). A minimum of 15 MTF members must be present at the perimeter of SCP-XXXX otherwise SCP-XXXX is to be considered breached. If another instance of SCP-XXXX is noted to have appeared, another larger perimeter must be made.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a group of roped balloons which have heads attached to the ropes rather than balloons. All instances of SCP-XXXX harness the ability to sing the song “A fine day” written by Jane. when SCP-XXXX's song is heard by a human being (further referred to as SCP-XXXX-1), SCP-XXXX-1 will start shaking as if having a seizure. SCP-XXXX-1 will then collapse, when SCP-XXXX-1’s body is recovered, the subject is always decapitated. SCP-XXXX will appear to gain another instance after this event. This head is always identical to the latest SCP-XXXX-1. After another instance is gained, the radius of which SCP-XXXX’s song can be heard is increased. The rate at which this happens seems to be indeterminate.

Addendum: It has been noted that subjects already decapitated inside of SCP-XXXX’s containment area will not become an instance of SCP-XXXX-1.
