SCP- after having a sample taken

Item #: SCP-

Object Class: Safe

Special Containment Procedures: SCP- is to be locked away in a small metal box at site- ██ which only staff with level 2 clearance or above can have access to and removed. Only under orders from a staff member with level 4 clearance or above is SCP- have samples taken out of SCP- holding room and under no cirumcences is it to be eaten.

Description: SCP- appears to be an average size watermelon but, when a part of SCp- removed it will grow back after 1-10 minutes depending on how much of SCP- is removed. If SCP- is cut up into three or more different pieces one piece would grow back into SCP- while all other pieces will wilt and die in mere seconds while if SCP- is cut up into two pieces one will grow back while the other will wilt in one week.

Subjects who eat SCP- are then subjected to severe mental trauma including PTSD, depression, minor OCD, anxiety, psychosis, paranoia, insanity, and in some rare cases multiple personality disorder when SCP- is being digested. Then the consumer will die a bloody death from ████████████ when SCP- is fully digested, there have been 9 confirmed deaths from SCP- . Subjects after consuming SCP- become extremely violent while certain subjects have been reported to talk to themselves then crying until death from ████████████.

SCP- does have seeds and attempts to grow more SCP- have proven not possible as any seeds planted would sprout but then die after a month. When someone eats the seeds of SCP- they do not die but instead only suffer the mental conditions above for the rest of their lives. The severity of the disorders depends on how many seeds are eaten and it is estimated to take 23 seeds to kill someone though it is unknown if it depends on the size, gender, or diet of the consumer.

Anything from SCP- like its seeds or other cut of pieces are to also be classified as SCP- . Any seeds from SCP- do not seem to die or lose their effect making them possible to be used in weapons. Any samples or seeds are to be brought to researcher [DATA EXPUNGED] for further research and anyone who in charge of taking samples or seeds are to not take any for themselves if they do it will result in ████████████.

Addendum -1:
06/20/2007 The discovery of SCP- was when according to █████████ police a entire family was found inside of their house having died from ████████████ with one survivor being a child named Gerald [REDACTED] who was taken to a mental ward for what he had seen and later questioned by foundation staff with the interrogation being listed below. Through the questioning it was found that all other family members had eaten SCP-. SCP- was recovered from the house of the family intact and taken to site- ██.

Experiment Log -2:
12/25/20██ D-8965 is put into a room with 30 seeds from SCP-. Through intercom D-8965 is told by Dr. [REDACTED] to eat one of the seeds. D-8965 goes over to where the seeds are and without hesitation eats one of the seeds. After 30 minutes with D-8965 with showing very little signs of paranoia D-8965 is instructed to eat three more seeds. D-8965 walks over to the seeds more hesitant and slowly eats three more seeds. D-8965 becomes more paranoid and anxious. D-8965 is asked to eat five more seeds and D-8965 pauses for a minute before eating the seeds. After a few minutes D-8965 goes into a corner and cries talking to himself becoming extremely unstable after 30 minutes D-8965 starts laughing hysterically for five minutes before running over to the rest of the seeds and eats the rest of them. D-8965 dies six minutes after eating the seeds. [END EXPERIMENT]
