Item #: SCP-4361
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures: Any remaining instances of SCP-4361 are to be kept within a sealable plastic bag, with the bag stored within a lockable desk drawer. Only the Head Researcher of a site can be in possession of an SCP-4361 instance. All current SCP-4361 instances are kept on Sites that house either contained reality benders or experimental reality effecting devices.
Description: Upon initial retrieval, SCP-4361 consisted of a brown paper bag containing a set of five plastic business cards and a handwritten note. The bag spontaneously manifested on Head Researcher Dr ███████'s desk while he was working on his computer on ██/██/██. The bag was briefly contained until the contents was deemed harmless, and the contents was distributed among the authorized personnel.
The business cards are roughly 3 inches by 2 inches. They are made from orange plastic with black text engraved into each card. The engraved text reads
"Break in half for a one time use reality related assistant."
The handwritten note is written in black ballpoint pen, on an unbranded, white napkin. The text appears to be rushed, with grammatical errors, numerous words misspelled and some words crossed out. The note itself is not anomalous in any way, as is the paper bag that contained the two.
"It is come to our ate attention that this organisation is in posession of numerous realty effectig entites or contraptions. The In the event of a reality manipulator appearance or breach, break one of the cards provided and a agent will arive shortly to deal with the issue."
Only one of the cards has been used so far and, according to on site witnesses, the card worked exactly as the note described. When the card was broken, SCP-4361-1 manifested and dealt with the issue that arose.
SCP-4361-1 was only witnessed by two personnel, a guard and the D-Class she was escorting. According to both of the witnesses, SCP-4361-1 was made of a paneled metallic substance, and is believed to be entirely robotic. It was only seen very briefly, so a more elaborate description cannot be provided at this time. The origins of SCP-4361-1 are unknown.
Addendum 4361-A:Incident log
Incident 4361-A In Site ███, on ██/██/██, an experimental reality stabilizer device entered critically unstable conditions and slightly increased the Hume level of every living organism in the room. While this caused little damage among the staff in the room, a technician working on the device had his Hume level drastically increased due to his proximity to the device. The technician began panicking, which resulted in the death of three personnel. This caused the technician to panic even further, and they proceeded to hastily exit the room through the closed door, moving through it as if the door was open.
The device released an Electromagnetic Pulse, all electronic devices in the Site were shorted out and the device returned to a stable condition.
The technician entered a hallway through the wall on the opposite end of Site ███, and according to a guard and the D-Class she was escorting, the hallway began getting longer, almost tripling in length. This was followed by the technician briefly turning inside-out while crying for help. The technician then began moving towards the guard and D-Class, despite moving his legs as if he were walking backwards.
At this point, the Researcher overseeing the stabilizer device snapped one of the business cards in half.
According to the guard, "A metallic figure manifested behind the
