Residence of those who discovered SCP-XXXX

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX must be kept under close surveillance at all times. Anyone who enters within 5 miles of Ashfort is to be monitored closely. In the event they enter within 1 mile, class A amnestics are to be issued via pheromone. In the event someone makes it inside of Ashfort, they will be examined once the body has been recovered by task force █████.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a large hardcover book located in Ashfort, Oklahoma. The cover is made of a leathery like substance, and the pages are made of woven cloth. Upon closer examination of those who have encountered the book personally, they have claimed the pages being written entirely in blood.

Ashfort was a small town located in northern Oklahoma. After incident ███12, it was taken off of the map completely.

Exploration Team: Southern North America exploration unit.

Subject: Ashfort/SCP-XXXX - First encounter/incident ███12

Team Lead: ████ woods

Team Members: Fred Miller, Haley O'Neil, and Jon Lopez.

[BEGIN LOG]

Miller: HEY! I found a house out here.

Woods: That's it. That's the house we're looking for.

O'Neil: 05 called together an exploration unit together for an abandoned house?

Woods: if 05 sent us here, it must be important. We found the target, now let's get out.

The top of the house suddenly catches fire. A large group of men and women, carrying various farm tools as weapons come out from town.

old woman: They have arrived! Finally they have arrived! Take the one who bears the burden of knowledge.

████ woods: I… I remember you. I've seen you, and that book you're holding.

Screaming ensues as they are all slaughtered. Woods is shown to be being dragged inside of the house. Jon is the only on that made it away.

Foreword: Jon was calm and still the entire interview. His behavior is rather unusual for what he had just been through.

Goose: [I want to know more about that book.]

Lopez: [You're asking the wrong person. It doesn't take a genius to figure out that book is the anomaly we were sent in to find, but 05 didn't tell me anything.]

Goose: [We were looking for that book for some time now.
