Description: SCP-XXXX is a device that let's whoever possesses it control meteorological conditions, climate, and astronomical phenomena as viewed from earth. The device superficially resembles a metallic cylinder 45 cm long and a diameter of 20 cm. The metal used to construct the device is an as of yet undiscovered isotope of tungsten that is highly radioactive. Several diodes, nodules, and levers cover the surface of SCP-XXXX and all contribute to atmospheric and astronomical conditions. A button on the bottom side labeled Pater does not have any known function as of yet.

When viewed horizontally, SCP-XXXX right side controls operate weather, the middle controls control climate, and the left side controls operate astronimical phenomena. These events usually happen within a 100 km radius of the individual handling SCP-XXXX. The inner workings of SCP-XXXX as well as how it operates the things it does remains under ongoing research. It is thought that SCP-XXXX uses a form of highly concentrated electromagnetic wave signals to influence the direction of jet streams and tropospheric weather patterns.

Discover and Recovery: SCP-XXXX was found by a journalist, █████ ██████ in the home of Dallas Morborough in Ojai, California. After retrieving the item, █████ ██████ soon died, and anomalous weather activity was reported shortly after. Foundation patrols were sent to investigate, which is when they found █████ ██████ dead in his home in [REDACTED], Washington. Signs of heavy radiation exposure was present over the subject's body. SCP-XXXX was then found buried beneath a pile of newspapers written by █████ ██████ in the subject's closet.
