When the flame is ingested by a human, the subject will experience near-instanteous self immolation (SEE EXPERIMENT LOGS). No means of extinguishing subjects before expiration have been successful, with all subjects summarily expiring within seconds of ingestion.

After…ubject's corpses then self extinguish [MINUTES-HOURS HERE].

Despite lack of cardiac activity, subjects will show brain activity [SMTH HERE WHERE THEY ARE EITHER EXPERIENCING ALMOST REM SLEEP OR ANOTHER TYPE OF DREAMLESS REST OR AN UNKNOWN STATE] but are not responsive to external stimuli.

After [HOURS HERE], subject's body will begin to crumble and wrinkle…and a full formed instance of SCP XXXX-1 will emerge. SCP-XXXX-1 is superficially and genetically identical to the expired subject, professing to have all of the former's memories and knowledge.
