Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5070-A and SCP-5070-B are to be locked up in a two (2) meter by two (2) meter metal cube at all times. SCP-5070-A and SCP-5070-B are not to be in contact to any personnel. SCP-5070-A and SCP-5070-B are to be kept at Site-19 at all times.
Description: SCP-5070-A and SCP-5070-B are caps from different beer bottles from the 20th Century. They were found in a bar in the 1970’s right next to several bodies filled with wounds . All of the bodies were checked and was found that they all had a virus that was similar to Malaria.
They act normal until anyone smells their distinctive smells, then the SCP will produce a beer like smell. If the victim sniffs in even the tiniest amount of beer in SCP-5070’s chamber, said victim will develop symptoms. These symptoms are in a wide range of known symptoms (e.g Coughing, depression, vomiting, etc.).
If victim shows any signs of symptoms from SCP-5070, then they will need to be locked in a room for at least 24 hours with 3 meals a day. If victim is still showing symptoms after 48 hours, there may be a chance of terminating said victim.
Diary Entries: 5/June/2005: 5 D-class personnel were in range of both SCP-5070’s today. Fortunately, most of them were evacuated before symptoms showed. Two D-class personnel (SCP-5070-1 and SCP-5070-2) showed symptoms of headaches, vomiting, internal bleeding and haemorrhaging. We lost SCP-5070-2 to Haemorrhaging.
17/September/2005: SCP-5070-A was found on the top of site-19. SCP-5070-A was successfully contained without any casualties. SCP-5070-B went missing but was eventually found at Site-01 with about 23 dead bodies. The bodies were checked and they seem to all have been killed by an unknown virus that will start to deteriorate any organic flesh. SCP-5070-B has been successfully relocated to Site-19 and is back in its chamber along with SCP-5070-A.
28/April/2007: The virus caused by SCP-5070-B will now be known as SCP-5070-B-1. SCP-5070-B seems to be more violent than SCP-5070-A and will be put into a smaller but thicker chamber to ensure everyone’s safety. SCP-5070-B-1 is being researched to see if it has similar symptoms to other viruses.
21/December/2012: SCP-5060-B-1 is being linked with Necrotizing fasciitis and is being researched more for a vaccine or a cure for it. Both SCP-5070’s are currently in their own chambers.
17/March/2013: SCP-5070-B-1 mutated whilst getting researched. The virus was airborne, but now it is waterborne as well. The research lab is in [REDACTED], USA and is currently being guarded by Level 2 facility guards. SCP-5070-A replicated itself to create SCP-5070-C. SCP-5070-C is worse than SCP-5070-B by having more destructive symptoms and can even be Classified as Apollyon. SCP-5070-C’s Distinctive smell can go through walls if there is no other option.
23/June/2018: SCP-5070-A and SCP-5070-B have been fully understood by all personnel. SCP-5070-A has the ability to create minor injuries/diseases, whilst SCP-5070-B has the ability to create more deadly injuries/diseases. SCP-5070-C and SCP-5070-B-1 are currently under research.
