Description: SCP-5657 is a 1.9 km wide, cylindrical pillar of seawater located in the Atlantic Ocean at [insert coordinates], reaching from the seafloor to the surface.

The water comprising SCP-5657 has a visible purple tinge and does not mix with the surrounding seawater, despite being identical in composition. A faint sound of shouting emanates constantly from SCP-5657, increasing in intensity approaching the center.

When a human enters SCP-5657, a large whirlpool forms and gradually increases in intensity until the human is pulled underwater. Over the course of 4-5 minutes, the human is pulled into the seafloor, and the whirlpool recedes.
