SCP-XXXX.
Special Containment Procedures: As jointly agreed upon by both the Foundation Medical Department and O-5 council, secure containment of SCP-XXXX is achieved either through the development of a vaccine, or at minimum significantly reduced cases. At current, this process requires the usage of partial veil-breaking information leaking to government and civilian health services. The information currently leaked has to be both approved jointly by both the the Medical Department and O-5 council, and addressed in such a manner that the anomalous nature of SCP-XXXX is not revealed. SCP-XXXX when discussed outside of Foundation controlled environments, is to be referred to as Involuntary Movement Sickness, or notus infirmitate.1 Medical Departments as such are required to implement plans of reducing contact of SCP-XXXX. If required, public information films, or press conferences may be issued.
Effected civilians who exhibit symptoms matching those of stages I, II, or III, may be safely removed from an area and applied a standard dosage of amnestics. Depending on severity and duration, a prolonged stay within a Foundation ran hospital may be issued. As there exists no treatment or method of palliative care in regards to Stage IV effected civilians, stage IV individuals are to be euthanized. Death certificates and records are to be forged and class-A amnestics are to be delivered to witnesses if needed.
Description: SCP-XXXX is the Foundation designation given to a currently unknown, poorly understood anomalous virus involving Involuntary ambulation, hallucinations and decreased mental awareness.
While the exact parameters of infection and contact are unknown, SCP-XXXX is believed to be spread through thought transfer, between an infected individual and a healthy individual. Upon contact with SCP-XXXX, patients have been observed engaging in wandering, and pacing notions, particularly when within forested, rural locations.
