Special Containment Procedures:
SCP-5000 is to be locked in a 5x5 meter cube the cube is to be 1 inch of steel with sound proofing nobody can go in or out and is to be kept in and if found outside Mobile Task Force guards are to go with specials ear muffs that cut out all noise and is to be placed on a cart and brought into the containment cell a door is on the cube and also is 1 inch of steel with sound proofing and is to be held at site-88.
Description:
SCP-5000 is a feather of an unknown species of some bird that makes a loud humming noise the noise that causes you to want to touch it but touching the feather would kill everyone in a 3 miles radius with immediate brain death to anything. if a civilian witnesses this they are to be terminated anyone in a 5 mile radius is to be given class a amnestics and all electronics are to be checked in the 5 mile radius if a containment breach happens the SCP is to be burnt

Addendum 5000-01:
After moving everyone out of the 3 mile radius a D-█████ was sent to touch the feather because in all the instances the person who touches the feather disappears out of thin air so a camera was attached to the D-█████ the camera is streaming to a location 4 miles away from SCP-5000 the D-█████ has a radio he can talk with the Scientists (d is for D-█████ s is for the Scientists) Dialogue:
d: Hey Scientists can you repeat to me where in here it is
s: In front of you
d: Ohhh okay thanks
d: okay I'm at the door i guess i swipe the card right?
s: yes you do swipe the card on the scanner
d: I'm in and i see… oh look at that i wonder how soft it is
As the D-Class touches SCP-5000 he suddenly goes to another place and the radio and stream still works they continue More Dialogue:
d: AHHHH MY HEAD AHHHHHH
s: At Least you're still alive
d: my head hurts less now
s: continue with the test
d: wait is this the same room?
s: doesn't seem like it the walls are made out of… wood?
d:sorry my visions a bit blurry still
s:should of told us
d:was more focused on my head
s:well leave the room
