Description: SCP-XXXX is a 23km diameter Residential area located at Latitude: █████████, Longitude: █████████. Occupied by an estimated current population of 7500 residents, these residents will be furthermore referred to as SCP-XXXX-R. SCP-XXXX is shadowed by a grouping of dark clouds and is submerged in a fog, reaching approximately 20 km above sea level where SCP-XXXX is located. This combination prevents any large amount of light from the surface of SCP-XXXX, the brightest being astronomical twilight. The clouds also create a heavy greenhouse effect in the area, causing an increase of temperature by 10 degrees Celcius compared to the average in the ██████ area. The existence of these highly abnormal and localized weather conditions appear to be caused by several small anomalies in the form of lightless floating spherical masses, which will be furthermore referred to as SCP-XXXX-A.

SCP-XXXX shifted over an estimated period of 13 months, completing the full shift on ██/██/1993. The shift has been characterized by the sudden assimilation of approximately 17 thousand members of the town into instances of SCP-XXXX-R. Instances of SCP-XXXX-A did not appear until an estimated 7 months after shift had started. The remaining residents of the town were evacuated as soon as possible, however, the instances of SCP-XXXX-R were unable to be removed without the instances committing suicide or attempting to re-enter SCP-XXXX.

SCP-XXXX has been observed to increase in size as time has passed, from its original 10km diameter area to 23km. Its diameter appearing to increase exponentially, appearing to correlate directly to the range of the entity located at the center of SCP-XXXX, which will be furthermore referred to as SCP-XXXX-O.

SCP-XXXX-R: A reclusive, and generally violently psychotic, and highly physically and mentally mutated human being, (Addendum-XXXX-I-1). SCP-XXXX-R are technically human beings, however, with a total lack of any anomalous mind control from SCP-XXXX, and appear to be acting out of a totally free will. It must be noted that the increased time that an instance of SCP-XXXX-R has spent inside SCP-XXXX, they appear more physically and mentally deformed. Starting out with no visible physical mutations, this changes over a relatively rapid pace, taking an average of 16 weeks before major changes take place. (See addendum-XXXX-RD for the list of Recorded SCP-XXXX-R entity profiles). Changes ranging from flesh contortion, extreme misproportion of body parts, increase/reduction of nerve endings, altering of brain chemistry and psychology, altering the chemical balance in the body, changing metabolic rates, bone density, muscle density, altering of bone size. liquidation of body parts and materials including; Bone, Fat, Skin, Muscle tissue, Grey matter, etc. (See Addendum-XXXX-M list for all recorded mutations.)

SCP-XXXX-R is pervious to all forms of weaponry that would be effective against human beings, however, some Hyper Extreme mutations may affect this. As some instances of SCP-XXXX-R have been recorded to have an increased resistance to flamethrowers and short-barreled small arms fire. (See addendum-XXXX-C for combat encounters in SCP-XXXX)

SCP-XXXX-R instances aren't able to leave SCP-XXXX for more than 2 days, and approximately 4 hours. For a violent suicidal death will be inflicted upon themselves if the time had elapsed, most commonly inexplicable organ failure due to sudden putrification. If they are able to seize the ability of self-destruction before this, they will attempt to utilize it providing they cannot reach SCP-XXXX.

Some SCP-XXXX-R instances appear to be from different parts of the world entirely, characterized by statements made by instances of SCP-XXXX-R who appear still coherent and willing to speak, (See Addendum-XXXX-I-?/?/?/?). People seem to disappear at random intervals and from random locations, appearing inside of SCP-XXXX.

Interviews with SCP-XXXX-R have revealed that they don't remember where they disappeared from exactly, but recall witnessing something between disappearing and waking up in SCP-XXXX. After much phycological analysis of the newer SCP-XXXX-R entities, it has been determined that their minds are not altered by SCP-XXXX in an anomalous way when transported, and their mental state when arriving is a result of experiences between disappearing and arriving at SCP-XXXX. (see addendum-XXXX-PA list for the list of phycological evaluations).

SCP-XXXX-A: Appears as a lightless area of space. Varying in size, with the current smallest being 0.018337 M in diameter, and the largest is estimated to be 36.56 meters in diameter. They do not appear to shift in position nor in form and consist of the same regular spherical shape. (See addendum-XXXX-AP for profiles of SCP-XXXX-A instances).

Matter around each SCP-XXXX-A appears to fluctuate in form. This causes many effects, notably regular effects being, a reduction/increase in gravity, the transformation of materials, triggering of explosive devices, sudden and full brain death of nearby individuals, high magnetic forces, distortion of photon pathways (leading to perceptive difficulties for individuals), etc. (See addendum-XXXX-AE for the log of experimentation and notable anomalous events concerning SCP-XXXX-A).

Each SCP-XXXX-A can be passed through with no inherent consequence, however, the chances of the matter being affected by the instance of SCP-XXXX-A increases by several thousand times when inside of an SCP-XXXX-A instance. (See Addendum-XXXX-AE).

SCP-XXXX-O: The center of SCP-XXXX locates the entity that shall be referred to as SCP-XXXX-O. This entity appears as a mass collection of SCP-XXXX-R entities. SCP-XXXX-O is hypothesized to represent a part of SCP-XXXX-R's supposed life cycle. The continued mutations lead to the connection of bodies, forming a cohesive structure that appears to act as one. Once individual SCP-XXXX-R entities reach a sufficient mutation level, they will attempt transit to SCP-XXXX-O, upon reaching SCP-XXXX-O, they will lose consciousness and collapse into unconsciousness. It should be noted that the SCP-XXXX-R entities who become a part of SCP-XXXX-O do not die, with mutations and cognitive ability continuing after the loss of consciousness. And no immediate change to the consciousness of SCP-XXXX-R instances is made after the assimilation into SCP-XXXX-O.

Recent events have shown SCP-XXXX-O is attempting movement, however, this movement currently lacks transitory capabilities, with the small number of short transitory movements made by SCP-XXXX-O not relocating SCP-XXXX.

Despite this apparent lack of the direct threat it poses, as it does not appear malicious in its very subdued sensory state. Any attempt to assault it will cause a powerful response, that being the destruction of the threat's vital parts. Ranging from remote nuclear weaponry to firearms/individuals, and smaller explosive devices, it has a clear understanding of things that threaten to cause harm to them, while ignoring equally dangerous items that do not pose a direct threat to them at the time. Its ability to achieve this goal of self-defense consists of matter manipulation, utilizing it similarly to the chaotic nature of SCP-XXXX-A, allowing it the ability to eliminate any threat in there range at will. Its ability limit can only manipulate small amounts of matter at any one time inside of SCP-XXXX. Despite this restriction to its ability, however, it's been observed that the increase in its mass also exponentially increases the size of SCP-XXXX and its ability's potency/range. It should be understood and acknowledged that SCP-XXXX-O's abilities could become vastly out of control in a relatively short period of time if left unchecked. It is expected that SCP-XXXX-O could leave SCP-XXXX if they had the physical ability and wish to do so. This is due to its ability-range being observed to extend outside of SCP-XXXX by almost half a meter on the southeast side, (however, it does not seem to be attempt to leave at this current time, as it has completed many similar movements and appears to be its method of attunement to its physical capabilities). Atop this, it doesn't appear sentient despite its incredibly high IQ (characterized by its ability to understand new objects and recreate them perfectly and ability to understand human languages after only a short time, but with a total lack of coherent action with said knowledge).

It should be expected that SCP-XXXX-O will attempt an exit at some point after gaining sentience, and the appropriate response should be prepared at such an event.
