Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX-B is to serve as SCP-XXXX’s containment Cell until a means to relocate SCP-XXXX-A is devised. The building where SCP-XXXX was discovered has been purchased from its previous owner ████████ by Foundation front company: “Shaun Catherine Produce” and converted to provisional site-XXXX.
As of [X/XX/19XX] [XXX] civilians that previously worked at ████████ have been reinstated to assist project [MX-49]. All containment and research personnel at provisional site-XXXX are to pose as company security to avoid raising suspicion. Personnel assigned to SCP-XXXX are not to interact with civilians at provisional site-XXXX unless to prevent or respond to the manifestation of an instance of SCP-XXXX-C.
Description: SCP-XXXX is the designation for an anomaly currently consisting of two components:
SCP-XXXX-A is a [machine] suspended perfectly at the geometric centre of SCP-XXXX-B.
SCP-XXXX-B is a small room covered in metal panels located in provisional site-XXXX. The entrance to SCP-XXXX-B appears as a standard wooden door similar to other in the building where SCP-XXXX-B is located. The placement of SCP-XXXX-B contradicts with other interior structures leading researchers to believe SCP-XXXX-B is non-Euclidean. SCP-XXXX-B’s entrance is non-anomalous and entrance was initially gained using standard lock picking and a key has since been moulded for the purpose of entry.
SCP-XXXX-A’s anomalous properties manifest if two requirements are met:
- SCP-XXXX-A is connected to a 350-joule power source.
- At least 75% of a minimum of ███ people within 25m of SCP-XXXX-B share significant belief of the misconception regarding a concept or object.
If all requirements are met then an object corresponding to the aforementioned misconception within a maximum of 15m of SCP-XXXX-B will change in properties and/or appearance to align with the common held belief regarding the object (affected objects designated: SCP-XXXX-C). This effect will first transform objects closest to SCP-XXXX-B SCP-XXXX-A then extend to other objects in proximity. Additionally, the speed of this transformation will vary depending on the percentage and number of people within radius of SCP-XXXX-A.
Discovery: SCP-XXXX was brought to foundation attention on █/█/198█ when an instance of SCP-XXXX-C (designated SCP-XXXX-C-3) manifested and injured 18 workers at ████████ Manufacturing, ██ Witnesses were amnesticized. Further investigations uncovered discrepancies in the internal Euclidean structure of the building and leading to the discovery of SCP-XXXX-B. Following this the building was purchased and re-purposed as provisional site-XXXX.
