NOTICE FROM THE SITE-16 STAFF
AND DR. WHYLE
THE FOLLOWING FILE DESCRIBES SCP-6000 BEFORE BEING RECLASSIFIED AS EUCLID/HIEMAL. SOME INCONSISTENCIES MAY PERSIST.
6000
Special Containment Procedures: Because of the spontaneous manifestation of SCP-6000 in forested areas, the Silvology Division and the O5 Command are still implementing procedures for efficient containment of the entity. Please refer to Doctor Whyle for more information.
Provisional Containment Procedures: All individuals having had visual contact with SCP-6000 are to be kept at Site-16 and studies are to be conducted for a possible cure. Witnesses of the entity are to be administered Class-A amnestics and released back to the public after having been questioned about their experience. All media referring to SCP-6000 such as photos, videos, etc. are to be confiscated and web-crawler S6000-ab.int is to monitor the internet for a possible medium of such. All areas where SCP-6000 is confirmed to have manifested are to be quarantined for a duration of 2 weeks and studied under the guise of geological studies.
A forest in which SCP-6000 manifested.
Description: SCP-6000 is an hostile and intelligent1entity driven by self-preservence above all, that is believed to only appear during significant ecological events or high pollution periods. It can manifest in all known types of forests, while it has also been observed to appear in a suburban or rural area as well, but to a lesser degree. SCP-6000 is not invulnerable to firearms damage. However, any attempt to lure the beast into a trap and kill it with type 4 or above2 weapons have proven futile as the entity does not manifest in the wanted area. The use of anomalous weapons hasn't been approved.
The creature has the ability to transform any human individual in its direct line of sight into a tree-like organism. Once a human is seen, branches will emerge from the original point of sight and will gradually cover the whole body, with the time-varying on the expose. Based on the time of observance, an organism needs 40 seconds on average of the continuous direct line of sight with the creature to be considered deceased. All of its manifestations are accompanied by whispers from no apparent source, which circle the creature to a range of 5 meters, though it has been theorized that their source could be anything from the voices of the victims of the entity up to them being the way this creature communicates.

Exploration Video Log Transcript
Exploration Team: Zeta-6 ''Wood-rangers''
Overview: Zeta-6 was instructed to search and secure the perimeter after an SCP-6000 manifestation and recover any injured civilians or witnesses.
Team Lead: ζ-6 Walter
Team Members: ζ-6 Andy, ζ-6 Yuri, ζ-6 Elliot
[BEGIN LOG]
ζ-6 Walter: Alright, advance into the forest, team.
ζ-6 Andy: What’s our mission, anyways? We’re not equipped to fight that thing. “Samsara” should deal with it.
ζ-6 Yuri: Thant’s a good point.
ζ-6 Elliot: Our mission, is to recover any witnesses or injured civilians who haven’t been transformed. We can’t have people claiming a creature attacked them in a forest.
ζ-6 Walter: Be on the alert, you don't know if the creature will appear.
ζ-6 Yuri: I hope not.
ζ-6 Andy: Hey, I'm picking up a thermal signature, 20 meters on our left.
ζ-6 Walter: Let's check it out, then.
ζ-6 Yuri: Why do we always have to be in this kind of situation at night, I can't this anything in here. And can't just they call the cops to recover some people?
ζ-6 Elliot: You're new here Yuri, you'll get used to it. And imagine a normal cop seeing a dead guy with branches emerging from his mouth and nose and covering his whole body how would that make you feel?
ζ-6 Yuri: Yeah, I get what you mean.
ζ-6 Andy: Could you 2 just stop talking-
[WHISPERS CAN BE HEARD]
ζ-6 Walter: [whispering] Quiet!
Mobile Task Force Zeta-6 takes cover behind a bush.
ζ-6 Elliot: [whispering] I think it doesn't see us.
[SCP-6000 turns its head to their position]
ζ-6 Elliot: [using provided body camera] Fuck, it's looking directly at us.
[after several seconds of silence, the whispers fade away]
ζ-6 Walter: using provided body camera] Ok, I think it's gone. Let's take that body.
ζ-6 Andy: But where does it take those trees…
Note: the rest of the operation was successful and conducted without any incidents.

INTERVIEW LOG
Interviewer: Agent Marder
Interviewed: M. Peterson
NOTE: M. Peterson has been a witness of an SCP-6000 manifestation. He saw the creature but wasn't saw himself.
[BEGIN LOG]
Agent Marder: So, let,s start from the beginning, shall we?
M. Peterson: Wait- where am I? Who the heck are you guys?
Agent Marder: We work for a governmental organization of national security. Just answer some of our questions, and we'll let you go.
M. Peterson: Questions? About what?
Agent Marder: Yesterday, you encountered… something, in that forest, can you recall it?
[M. Peterson remains silent for a few seconds]
M. Peterson: How- How did you know?
Agent Marder: So, you do remember.
M. Peterson: I wish I didn't.
Agent Marder: Tell me everything you remember.
M. Peterson: Sure… So, my friends and I decided to take a small trip to the nearby National Park. Heard it was really beautiful in the summer… everything was normal, until the night. I was sleeping in my tent when I started hearing some rather questionable sounds from outside… whispers. I thought it was my mind just not awake or my friends snoring. I went back to sleep. I was awakened by a scream. I opened my tent, wanting to see what happened. Then I saw it… standing 2 feet tall, just over my friend Jacob. Poor him, he looked at me in despair while leaves and branches began growing from his arms and legs. I don't want to detail too much what he became-
Agent Marder: It's okay, continue with the story.
M. Peterson: Alrigh, I don't know why, but I feel like it spared me. It didn't even look at me. But I felt like it knew me like it wanted to help.
[short break]
M. Peterson: I think we deserve what it does to us, considering we are destroying ecosystems around the planet. It just wants to teach us a lesson. It then picked him up and left, who knows where. I stayed there, unable to move for a few minutes, then I packed my things and tried to run away. And I hit my head in a tree. Then all blank. The next thing I know, I'm being handled by some people in black, being put in a car, I thought it was an ambulance with the army.
[M. Peterson gasps]
Wait- I know you! You were there, weren't you? It was you that was talking to those men in black!
Agent Marder: I've collected enough information. We may administer some more amnestics and then send him to the nearest hospital.

Operation ARTEMIS
- Mission briefing.
Approved by O5 Command back in June, this is a neutralization attempt, as SCP-6000 has become too powerful. We will attempt to take away the power of this creature, neutralize it, of you will. But it's a god. It won't be easy. But as we did with SCP-2845, we'll do with this one too.
We'll use [DATA REDACTED] to ensure this goes smoothly. I know, not the best idea, but if you have a better one, just tell me. We will imprison SCP-6000 inside SCP-████, a newly discovered anomaly, just 2 kilometres down the Hudson Bay. There is no way out of there. I hope an infinite forest will please it.
We will bait it with some Ds and then conduct the ritual. It will then be a Euclid. And it can plant how many trees it wants in that forest. Hope this time it works.

Comments:
O5-10: This is ridiculous! It won't work.
O5-09: I stand with O5-10. I don't think this is the way out of this.
O5-06: This seems interesting. While I don't personally agree with it, what choice do we have, anyway?
