Special Containment Procedures: SCP-TBA is to be kept in a deactivated state at Site-███, in a standard Safe-class inanimate-object containment cell. All files/data retrieved from SCP-TBA is to stored on Site-███ servers, along with schematics of SCP-TBA and its components. As of 12/31/████, personnel below rank 4/TBA are restricted access to SCP-TBA after Incident TBA-1.
Description: SCP-TBA is the designated number of three objects, designated -1 to -3. SCP-TBA also designates the phenomenon known as SCP-TBA-P.
SCP-TBA-1 is a Compaq Portable II, built-in 19██. Despite SCP-TBA-1 listing serial numbers, no matching numbers are found in company databases. Internal inspection reveals it to be composed entirely of hardware commercially available in the mid-1980s, with the exception of slot 3. Instead of an ISA port for slot 3, SCP-TBA-1 has a PCI slot. This PCI slot has full functionality and works with standard PCI cards.
SCP-TBA-2 is an unmarked PCI modem made in 1991. The card hosts standard parts and a wireless card is hooked up as a daughterboard. Despite this, SCP-TBA-1 cannot interface with the wireless card, even when standard wireless drivers are installed.
When SCP-TBA-1 is powered on, and SCP-TBA-2 is hooked to a standard phone line, a phenomenon known as SCP-TBA-P occurs. After standard BIOS testing, SCP-TBA-1 will display a BBS (a type of Bulletin board system) named "aTrium," along with a login screen. All prior login information does not work, and typing "NEW" is the only way to pass this screen.
After logging in, multiple blocks of text appear. The standard language SCP-TBA-P is written in is English, though, through unknown means, SCP-TBA translates the text to the user's preferred language. It is unknown what counts as "using" SCP-TBA, and research is ongoing.

SCP-TBA-3 are the entities that inhabit SCP-TBA-P. SCP-TBA-P appear to be entities connected via similar devices like SCP-TBA-1 and SCP-TBA-2 but from a different universe or mirrored/unmirrored timelines. Researchers are currently investigating how this interdimensional connection is made.
