Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX must be sealed tightly within a metal container that is tightly chained up to the ground in a chamber consisting of multiple layers of re-enforced concrete walls. All weapons on SCP-XXXX must be removed. A security camera must be set up to monitor it's activity, and an EVP device must be placed within the container. If SCP-XXXX begins acting up, the EVP must be activated to disable SCP-XXXX. SCP-XXXX must not be taken out of containment, as doing so would risk loss of multiple personnel and permanent damage to the facility.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a bio mechanical creature that has taken the form of a 1940s panzer tank. SCP-XXXX is sentient and shows an extreme disdain towards humanity, often reacting by violently shaking within it's confines and threatening personnel to an extreme degree in a highly enraged state. Outside of containment, SCP-XXXX would behave in a berserk fashion and fire off a volley of gunfire and missiles, laughing loudly in a manner that could only be described as "haunting". It is unknown why it dislikes humans.

Said SCP also displays symptoms of mania and delusions of grandeur. Inspecting the inside of it's cockpit, it is revealed the SCP also has organic components and soft tissue inside of it.
SCP-XXXX was last spotted in March 19 1968 as it attempted to massacre a small village in the country of [REDACTED].

An interview was conducted with the SCP by Dr. Phillip Maxwell.

Dr. Maxwell: Greetings. My name is Dr. Maxwell. I take it you know why I'm here, but first I would like to ask you something; Why is it that you think you're here?
SCP-XXXX: Unh… humans… humans…! You're all a load of trash! Wait till I get out here! You're all dead!
*SCP-XXXX begins to shake violently within it's confines*
Dr. Maxwell: Tell me, why is it that you feel such hatred towards us?
SCP-XXXX: Fuck you! You're only alive right now because I haven't killed you yet! I will turn this fucking world into a graveyard! Do you hear me!? *SCP-XXXX then begins to laugh in a disturbingly unhinged tone*
Dr. Maxwell: You will answer the question!
SCP-XXXX: You're dead! You're dead! You're fucking dead! You're all fucking dead!
*SCP-XXXX continues repeating this for another ten minutes*
Dr. Maxwell: This interview is over. Activate the EVP.
*Security personnel then activate the EVP. SCP-XXXX then stops all activity*
Closing statement: Dr. Maxwell was unable to get an intelligent response from SCP-XXXX.

Discovery: It was later discovered SCP-XXXX's origins were in fact artificial. Diary entries containing information pertaining to SCP-XXXX were found in an old war bunker in [REDACTED] and were translated into English.

February 12th [REDACTED]
The final blueprints for the Auto-Tank project were just completed today.
The bio-weapon shall be synthesized by cloning brain tissue from [REDACTED] and placing it
within a mechanical body. If successful, the weapon should be able to work fully autonomously.
Several complications have arisen lately as the experimental stages showed that the project will not be as simple as we first thought, granted an undertaking of this magnitude was never going to be that simple in the first place. I shall continue working with [REDACTED] to find out more of what is required for the Auto-Tank to be fully functional.
Furthermore, the risks of the Auto-Tank project must be assessed as well. Creating an artificial life form is not something to be taken lightly after all. For the Auto-Tank to be successful, it must follow the following procedural guidelines;
1. The ability to act as a fully functional weapon.
2. The motivation to attack enemy troops without need of prompt.
3. the willingness to be addressed as a member of the ranks.

March 10th [REDACTED]
It's finally happened. The Auto-Tank is born! The subject is fully intelligent and is even capable of intelligent conversation thanks to it's voice module and knows over 700 different languages! The subject must be subjected to further testing, but other than that, I wouldn't mind referring to it as a member of the corps.

April 20th [REDACTED
Tests have found something deeply concerning about the subject as early symptoms of dementia have been detected. The Auto-Tank even occasionally forgets the names of other personnel. How far the symptoms will go I am not sure. Perhaps it may have been better to have waited until our technology had developed a little further. Regardless, the subject still proves itself to be effective at it's main purpose.

May 14th [REDACTED]
The subject showed behaviour which I find to be "disturbing". This morning I caught it firing rounds into the air for no reason. When I asked it what it was doing, it said it was "putting the fear of god into them". Who the "them" it was referring to was, I am unsure.

June 26 [REDACTED]
Grave news shook the camp this morning. The Auto-Tank had apparently slaughtered an entire squadron of personnel during a training exercise. When asked the reasons as to why it performed such actions, it simply replied it "hated their guts". The subject seems incredibly unhinged and I feel it is no longer mentally competent to be effective at it's job.

July 24th [REDACTED]
We made a mistake. Weapons of war are designed to kill. If said weapon were to gain intelligence, it would only use that intelligence to kill. This is something we all should have realised sooner. The subject is currently held in quarantine and awaiting termination. All documents pertaining to the Auto-Tank project are to be disposed of immediately. If I manage to keep this diary hidden, it will be the only piece of material left referring to the existence of the Auto-Tank.

The diary entries seem to point towards the fact that SCP-XXXX was once a fairly rational entity, but slowly began to grow more irrational as it's cognitive functions degraded over time.
