Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4902 is kept in a 5 x 5 x 5 m locked containment cell at Site ██. Only personnel of level 3 clearance or higher, who are followers of the catholic religion (see addendum 4902.1) are allowed to enter the item's containment and interact with SCP-4902, with the exception of D-class personnel undergoing testing. SCP-4902 is monitored by a single CCTV camera in the right corner of the cell.
Description: SCP-4902 is a framed portrait of a women praying, produced by an unknown artist. The reasoning behind the creation of SCP-4902 is currently unknown.
Whenever a human, of the catholic religion, enters a 3 x 3 meter radius of SCP-4902, they will begin to pray. The amount prayer session lasts ranges from 2 minutes to 35 minutes. Upon the conclusion of the prayer session, the human will return to their previous state.
Addendum 4902.1: Incident 4902.A
During test 4902~1, the currently only test ran on SCP-4902, D-9910 was told to enter the containment chamber and examine the item. The test was ran to figure out the item's properties. D-9910, who wasn't a catholic, entered the item's 3 x 3 meter radius. D-9910 got on its knees and began crying for approx. 45 minutes, before uttering the words "I'm sorry, █████!" before banging on the containment door of SCP-4902, and attempting to [DATA REDACTED]. D-9910 was terminated by MTF Guard █████.
Addendum 4902.2: Discovery
SCP-4902 was recovered by MTF team ███████ on 1/4████ in ████████, Virginia. The foundation was alerted when a 911 call was made reporting loud screams and crying from a neighboring house. The MTF team was made of all Catholics, fortunately and unfortunately, so when they searched the home, the anomalous properties of the item did not effect any members of the mobile task force. However, the words "I'm sorry, ███████!" were written approx. 6.5 inches above the painting.
