Item #: SCP-[?]
Object Class: safe
Special Containment Procedures:
Image of SCP-[?]-1B
SCP-[?]-1A & SCP-[?]-1B are to be contained in two separate stranded steel containment lockers at Area [?]. Access to SCP-[?] requires the approval of two personnel with at least level two security clearance the current project head Dr.Anderson.
Description:
SCP-[?] is made up of two different anomalous items. SCP-[?]-1A is a leather cap with a metal top meant to be placed upon the head of any human test subject. Heavy duty cables measuring 3 meters long extrude from the back of SCP-[?]-1A which can be plugged into SCP-[?]-1B for power. Where the power supplied to SCP-[?]-1A comes from is unclear due to the fact SCP-[?]-1B does not need to be plugged into any power source to power SCP-[?]-1A. SCP-[?]-1B looks almost identical to a Kodak S-AV 2050 projector beside a small opening on the back of the projector. It was found that any device containing video or images placed inside this opening would be projected. Any human who is subjected to SCP-[?] full affects are labeled SCP-[?]-2.
When the following conditions have been met the test subject will show the characteristic of the media shown to them through SCP-[?]-1B.
- Test subject is restrained into a sitting position
- The test subject is restrained in such a way as they can see the images displayed by SCP-[?]-1B
- Test subject is restrained for the full-time SCP-[?]-1B is displaying the test media
Experiments:
Experiment 1 - 13/9/1992
Subject: 1 D-class personnel from here on know as the subject.
Procedure: a CD containing the Soviet national anthem was placed into SCP-[?]-1B's opening and the subject was restrained for the full length of the anthem.
Results: The subject who before the test was a strong believer in capitalism, now strongly believes communism is superior to capitalism and became aggressive towards staff when they didn't agree with the subject.
Analysis: It appears that SCP-[?] was able to rewrite deeply ingrained beliefs in the subject.
Experiment 2 - 25/11/1992
Subject: 1 D-class personnel from here on know as the subject.
Procedure: a CD containing a video with basic information about SCP-4484 was placed into SCP-[?]-1B's opening and the subject was restrained for the full length of the video.
Results: The subject knew all information about SCP-4484 even information that wasn't contained in the CD placed into SCP-[?]-1B.
Analysis: It seems that SCP-[?] just doesn't change someone's mental state but the test subject seemed to act as if it was under the influence of SCP-4484.
Experiment 3 - 12/2/1993
Subject: 1 D-class personnel from here on know as the subject.
Procedure: a CD containing a video with basic information about SCP-173 was placed into SCP-[?]-1B's opening and the subject was restrained for the full length of the video.
Results: [REDACTED]
Analysis: Subject was terminated and all further testing is suspended.
