Item #: SCP-3592

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: The importance of the location to national transport infrastructure makes permanent Foundation takeover of the site unfeasible. Containment focuses on information gathering and covert surveillance by MTF Theta-17 (“Sick Boys”).

Description: SCP-3592 is a steam train (No. 60163 "Tornado," A1 Class)1 that has arrived unscheduled at platform ten, Liverpool Street Station approximately once every three years since February 1947.

Approximately twenty minutes prior to SCP-3592's arrival mundane platform activity decreases to zero.

Immediately prior to the arrival of SCP-3592, up to three hundred apparently human adults assemble in small groups. Designated SCP-3592-A, these appear to be mostly unaware of each other and exhibit signs of severe stress, excitement and worry.

Upon arrival of SCP-3592 up to six hundred unaccompanied minors disembark. These instances are designated SCP-3592-M and have estimated age ranges of between two and fifteen years. The apparel of "M" instances usually, though not exclusively, resembles clothing styles and manufacturing processes of 1930's - 1940's continental Europe.

Each "A" instance will search for one or more specific "M"instances. All display extremes of emotion ranging from sadness and confusion to joy. As A/M instances are united they leave the station together.

Attempts to follow instances have been unsuccessful; agents report memory loss and confusion, whilst remote surveillance feeds fail upon leaving the area of the station.2

Mundane platform activity recommences approximately two minutes after the last instances have left.
