SCP-#### Ian attack stance

Item #: SCP-####

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-#### is contained in an airtight 4m by 4m metal containment cell. The floor must be lined with a magnetic material, and if SCP-#### attempts to escape, the force of the magnetic material is to be strengthened.

Any personnel authorized to come into contact with the SCP-#### is to wear a full body chain mail suit and to be equipped with bolt cutters. During transport, SCP-#### must be contained within a sealed chamber and the inside of the chamber to be kept at 1000 °C in order to keep SCP-#### in a feeble state.

Description: SCP-#### is a steel chair with leather seating and a leather back rest with no headrest. SCP-#### resembles a spider, with 8 metal legs and metal "fangs".

Despite no organs or any organic materials, SCP-#### acts and functions like most common spiders. It displays the following properties:

  • Produces wire rope instead of regular spider silk
    • The wire rope, despite being metal, still has a sticky property and cannot be cut with anything weaker than bolt cutters.
  • Although it's legs are made of only steel, SCP-#### crawls up walls and along ceilings.
  • Even though SCP-#### has no real mouth, it has been recorded being able to eat and requires pieces of different seating furniture or it becomes agitated.
      • Will eat organic material as well
  • Does attack when provoked

SCP-#### was found inside the house of [REDACTED]. During the inspection of the property, there were many giant metal webs around the house, and the door covered in the SCP-####'s wires.

After finally getting through the door, and quote "ran out of bolt cutters and had to buy more", the team discovered the interior of the house was covered in wire rope as well. All pieces of furniture was cocooned to the roof, and one large cocoon in the middle of what seemed to the living room. Later inspections revealed the cocoon to be containing the corpse of the property owner.

Shortly after entering the house, the researching team was attacked by SCP-#### and were killed by the target. A month later, after having no contact with them, a new team was sent led by Doctor [REDACTED]. They neutralized the entity and brought it back to Site-██.

Interviewed: Doctor [REDACTED], the leader of the second investigative team.

Interviewer: ███████
<Begin Log, 14:56>

███████: "What happened upon entering the house?"

Doctor [REDACTED]: "We had placed down some iron sheets on the floor so we could walk around without getting stuck, when we saw a chair in the middle of the floor."
███████: "Can you describe what the chair looked like."

Doctor [REDACTED]: "Well it looked like a regular chair, just with four extra legs and what we assumed was legs on the front which were sawed off."

███████: "What happened after you encountered the subject?"

Doctor [REDACTED]: "Nothing happened after we approached it, until [DATA EXPUNGED] decided to sit on it."

███████: "How did SCP-#### react?"

Doctor [REDACTED]: "The entity jumped back about 1 meter and cocooned [DATA EXPUNGED] in about 5 seconds."

███████: "Can you tell me what happened after?"

Doctor [REDACTED]: SCP-#### started running at us, so in a panic, the team ran out of the house. The entity followed us out, and where it got stuck in a mud pit, lucky for us, so we tied it up in some chains and brought it back to the site."
<End Log, 15:44>

Closing Statement: When inspecting the house one more time after capturing SCP-####, it turned out most of the seating furniture was broken up and parts missing.
