Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is contained in a standard Model SAT-URN ("Biological Artifact") Cooling Container in Storage Site-64, secluded to its own private basement floor isolated from contact with all personnel unaffiliated with the project. Constant surveillance over SCP-XXXX is advised, done via surveillance cameras set within the primary containment chamber that have been set with a 90 year transmission delay.
Under no circumstance should any portion of SCP-XXXX be physically damage or consumed. Standard protocols have been established in the event that SCP-XXXX does exceed its present-time temporal boundary, detailed in Agent Haulbowline's MTF Lambda-12 ("Erwin's Radiologists") seminar "Rescuing a Potato Takes Time."
Description: SCP-XXXX is a potato plant root 62 mm in its widest diameter with an inconsistent weight (8 kg minimum, 95 kg maximum). Save for several signs of fungal growth that has never progressed beyond sporous dissemination, it is similar to other healthy members of its species.
As its primary anomalous nature, SCP-XXXX causes a severe space-time discontinuity, albeit in a limited space 28 meters in diameter. One week outside of the boundary is equal to two years inside the perimeter.
