Special Containment Procedures:
Any suspicious activity believed to be caused by Scp XXXX is to be investigated by Mtf Sigma 19 (Salem Trotters) and dealt with by capturing all infected subjects and isolating them from any human contact for 2 months. Any unsuccessful Scp XXXX containment is to be claimed as mass hysteria to the general public.
Description:
Scp XXXX is a phenomenon that causes humans affected, designated Scp XXXX-1 to believe that supernatural anomalies know as witches, designated Scp XXXX-2, are real and active in most major societies. No proof has been discovered to indicate any witch-like anomalies are embedded in normal society or have ever been inside common society. Descriptions of the witches given by Scp XXXX-1 subjects closely resemble their appearance in malleus Maleficarum1, described as human females able to perform supernatural acts, often aided by dark forces.
Scp XXXX-1's aggression increases depending on the time of exposure to Scp XXXX. Scp XXXX-1 subjects begin to feel the need to explain calmly to other uninfected subjects during first exposure, testing has proven that unless the prolonged conversation is made, uninfected subjects will not become Scp XXXX-1. After around 1 week of exposure to Scp XXXX, Scp XXXX-1 begin to become violent towards the belief of witches and begins to assault subjects that try to disprove them. For the rest of exposure to Scp XXXX, Scp XXXX-1 subjects will to try to prove the existence of witches, but will instead try to make subjects join their supposed witch hunt. Attempts have been made to restrain, blindfold and amnestic Scp XXXX-1 subjects, though the only attempt that was successful in stopping the spread of Scp XXXX was the use of amnesties, though it only cut the time of exposure in half, to around 1 month.
Scp XXXX-1 will attempt to find supposed witches and publicly terminate them, examples of terminations includes lynchings, blunt trauma inflicted by rocks and igniting the subject with flames. Note that the termination of Scp XXXX-2 subjects only occurs around 1 month into exposure to Scp XXXX.

Date and Discovery
Scp XXXX's first instance is theorized to have been originally contracted by Heinrich Kramer, which had led him to write and publish the malleus Maleficarum in 1487. Though the first recorded outbreak is theorized to have been centralized in Salem, Massachusetts in 1692. No information has been documented to uncover the original Scp XXXX-1 subject that had begun the outbreak. Though documentation shows that Townsfolk mistook 3 Scp XXXX-2 subjects and proceeded to terminate them publicly, furthering the spread of Scp XXXX. No foundation research has found the reason for the sudden cure of Scp XXXX to all Scp XXXX-1 in Salem, though the best-theorized answer is that Scp XXXX had infected every member of Salem. With normal quarantine of an Scp XXXX-1 subject, the subject becomes uninfected by Scp XXXX after around 2 months. Though as townsfolk of Salem had all become Scp XXXX-1 subjects, no quarantine could be made. The running consensus is Scp XXXX can only infect a subject for around a year, Foundation tests are currently run to prove or disprove this theory2.
