The shadow.

Scp-*Redacted* is a seemingly harmless shadow. It was found in Northern Ireland when a group of researchers went after a sudden small movement. When they finally reached the specimen, they discovered it to be nothing more but a small black circle that shifted around. When ome researcher stepped to close, the shadow sped into there shadow. When the researcher tried to move, he realized all his muscles had clenched up, and he couldn't move. When the small circle left his shadow, he could move again, and they decided to capture it using a series of lights to corral it into a glass case. Upon contact with the lights, the scp shriveled up and released a high pitched sound, that did nothing more than annoy the scientists. Once safely secured, the scp was escorted to the American branch for further testing.

Test 1: D-class #45621 was put into Scp-*redacted* containment field. After momentarily shutting off the lights and turning them back on, #45621 was seemingly immobile. He strung a few curse words out, before screaming. Upon closer examination of #45621, it was seen that he was bleeding from several unopened pores, all though not enough to cause serious damage.

Test 5: *redacted*

Test 7: Scp has been seen out in the light, appearing to have grown a hardened shell to protect it from the harsh lights that caused damage to it. When we sent #45621, he pleaded with us to leave the lights on, claiming it only liked him when the lights where on. We agreed, at the command of a higher-up. At first, the scp circled #45621, but made no signs to enter his shadow, almost like it was dancing around him like a child. When we shut the lights off and turned them back on, the same thing happened as the last few tests. The scp had shifted into his shadow, and currently held him hostage. #45621 started to sputter incoherent nonsense, before screaming widely. He started to scream about how he could feel his insides ripping apart, that he felt every muscle in his body start to be torn up as his bones started to crack. One of the guards had walked into the room and shone a light on his shadow to stop the scp, but it was gone with the shadow.

Observation 34: still no sign of scp-*redacted*, although #45621 has started to act strange
