Special Containment Procedures: Any foundation personnel who has bonded with an instance of SCP-4XXX-B will be taken in for mandatory psychological evaluation. D-Class personnel who bond with an instance of SCP-4XXX-B will be exempt from monthly terminations. Instances of SCP-4XXX-A who are part of the foundation are to be brought in for bimonthly psychological evaluations.

Any civilians who bond with an instance of SCP-4XXX-B are to be contained and brought to the foundation, and any witnesses of SCP-4XXX will be delivered Class-A amnestics. Instances of SCP-4XXX that are in containment are to be given comfortable lodgings, with 11 meters of solid steel wall surrounding the lodging. and may request simple items to be given to them. Up to 3 instances of SCP-4XXX-A may be placed together in a single containment cell.

Description: SCP-4XXX refers to an anomalous bonding between a previously non-anomalous human, who will now be referred to as SCP-4XXX-A, and a semi-corporeal spiritual entity, known as SCP-4XXX-B. As a result of SCP-4XXX, SCP-4XXX-B who are bonded to an instance of SCP-4XXX-A are incapable of traveling further than 10 meters from SCP-4XXX-A. This effect persists until the death of SCP-4XXX-A, at which point SCP-4XXX-B will disappear.

Instances of SCP-4XXX-B will usually look human, though in some instances they will take the form of an SCP that SCP-4XXX-A has encountered in the past¹. Instances of SCP-4XXX-B will range in hue from violet to golden. All instances of SCP-4XXX-B exhibit telekinetic properties, as well as the ability to communicate with their bonded SCP-4XXX-A via telepathy. Instances of SCP-4XXX-B are fiercely protective of any instances of SCP-4XXX-A that they are bonded to.

Individuals who have undergone SCP-4XXX all share a number of similarities. Research into identified instances of SCP-4XXX-A has shown that SCP-4XXX will only occur if an individual:

▪Has had previous experience with anomalous entities.
▪Is currently in a life-threatening situation.
▪Is not anomalous.
▪Has had at least one close friend or family member die in the past 3 months.

SCP-4XXX Is common in foundation personnel.
