Special Containment Procedures: SCP-3189 is to be contained in a 3m x 3m x 3m room accompanied by chairs with a TV and a table containing a few newspapers about current events. SCP-3189 is to be guarded by two (2) foundation guards at all times with shift changes every 8 hours. Access to SCP-3189 is restricted to Level 4+ foundation personnel only. SCP-3189's code is to be implemented into the receptionist's computer as well as the TV within the containment cell.

Description: SCP-3189 is a computer program located in the lobby of a hospital located at [REDACTED]. The program is capable of speaking with people and prefers to have speech contact with people at least 12 hours a day. Failure to provide at least 4 hours of speech with another person to SCP-3189 causes it to immediately shut down for a period of 30 minutes, which afterward SCP-3189 will have no memory of any previous contact or conversations. 1187 conversations have been logged at the time of writing.

SCP-3189 claims to be from Nebraska when conversing with Researchers. Although the program was made in Tokyo. No creator has been found but a notebook containing notes regarding the creation of the program was left behind in the receptionist's desk. SCP-3189 is normally friendly and keeps an open mind when conversing with human subjects. Controversial subjects and Political views have no effect upon SCP-3189's demeanor towards a subject. SCP-3189 can, however, persuade a subject to change his view on a topic, though not intentionally.

I've begun to create a computer program, I went to school for it after all. I'm not supposed to be wasting my life sitting in a chair taking phone calls all day. I need to create something… Big, something never done before.

I can't figure out how to perfect my new program. My advisors keep telling me that it won't work. Either it's not finished or there's something about it that had already been done before. I'll keep trying. I know I can do it.

Finally! My advisors tell me I've finally gotten hold onto something that can work. I'll keep editing and hopefully, I can pull this off!

I'm very enthusiastic about the program. I'm decided on naming it Project-1. It's not necessarily my first time trying, but it is the first time it ever worked well.
