**Special Containment Procedures: SCP-xxxx is to be kept in a standard locker that is to only be accessed by Level 3+ personnel. At no time should SCP-xxxx be played for any other purpose than testing.
**Description: SCP-xxxx is a VHS copy of Rocky 4 approximately 10.2 cm in height and 18.7 cm wide, with a thickness of 2.5 cm. The tape seems to be in a quite poor condition, with multiple scratches and cracks in the plastic. The sleeve of the VHS depicts the character Rocky Balboa draped in a flag of the United States, with the words ROCKY IV in bold, red text. When the VHS tape is played, the footage seems to play an exact copy of the Director's Cut edition of Rocky 4. It is unknow if the VHS sleeve found with SCP-xxxx is the original sleeve that the tape came packaged with, as it both doesn't make it known that the tape is the directors cut edition, as well as the fact that the sleeve appears to be in much better condition than the tape, with only minor damage to the box art. There are no previews or commercials, the tape simply begins at the beginning of the film. When examined extremely closely, it can be noted that there is a faint overlay of a stagnant image of a U.S. flag. No viewers of SCP-xxxx seem to ever take note of the overlay. when ejected from the VCR, SCP-xxxx show no signs of ever being played, and will have already been rewound though the beginning of the film.
When a subject view the contents of SCP-xxxx in it's entirety, the subject, which will now go by SCP-xxxx-1 will express their enjoyment of the film to any person that happens to be around. even when tested on Class-D personnel that have been known to either not care for or dislike the film, the subject will still show signs of enjoyment of the film.
Within 2-3 hour after viewing the film, SCP-xxxx-1 will gain an extreme feeling of patriotism. They will talk about their love for the United States as well as attempt to craft crude replicas of an US flag. if there are no suitable materials around SCP-xxxx-1, they will use whatever clothing they are wearing as a substitute. After completing their replica, SCP-xxxx-1 will proceed to run around, waving it in the air. If the flag becomes dismantled during this time, SCP-xxxx-1 will stop running, and repair the flag, before getting back up and repeating the process. This behavior lasts about an hour, after which SCP-xxxx-1 will return to a relatively normal state. When asked about what they just did, SCP-xxxx-1 will say that they remember the whole experience, but aren't sure entirely what compelled them to act in such a way.
24-30 after exposure to SCP-xxxx, SCP-xxxx-1 will gain another burst of patriotism, but this time, their behavior will be far more extreme. SCP-xxxx-1 will make constant pleas and attempts to enlist with the U.S. military, regardless of their eligibility to join. Even when tested on those undergoing solitary confinement, SCP-xxxx-1 will insist on trying to join, believing they have a chance at getting out of their containment. If SCP-xxxx-1 is able to successfully enlist, they will continue to live out the rest of their life as a member of the US military until they either die on the battlefield or retire at the age of 65. Note: No test involving Class-D personnel have yielded these results, due to all subjects being restrained before they can escape the site.
If restrained, SCP-xxxx-1 will immediately resort to violence in an attempt to escape. It is only when SCP-xxxx-1 realizes that they have no possible chance of enlistment, that they will cease their attempts at escape and will proceed to enter a depressive state lasting several weeks.
During this time, SCP-xxxx-1 can be heard mumbling insults toward several groups that have been historically thought of as "enemy's" to the United States, the most common of which being, the Soviet Union. Any foundation staff or other people within a 200 meter vicinity of SCP-xxxx-1, that are entirely or mostly Russian in ethnicity will be targeted by SCP-xxxx-1, and will be attacked if reached. The way in which SCP-xxxx-1 attacks makes it appear as if they have encounter this person before, and are exacting a form of "revenge" against their victim, even if the two have never been near one another in their life up until now.
After 4-6 weeks, SCP-xxxx-1's depression will reach it's peak, resulting in SCP-xxxx-1 commiting suicide via hanging. It is currently unknown how SCP-xxxx-1 gains possession of the rope, and it is speculated that SCP-xxxx-1 simply produces it from nothing. Below SCP-xxxx-1 will be a note written in a blue substance with a similar consistency to paint that reads, "GOD BLESS AMERICA"
