Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4365 is located in a very remote and unpopulated fishing/crabbing town named █████████. the foundation has set up a small crabbing equipment store as a front to monitor any peoples attempting to enter SCP-4365, additionally due to the smallness and remoteness of the town surrounding SCP-4365 superstition and rumors are easily spread, over the years that the foundation has been stationed in █████████ they have created a superstition around SCP-4365 effectively deterring residents from exploring the area.

the instances of SCP-4365-1 that have been captured are extremely hostile towards personnel and require a minimum level 3 security clearance. currently, they are housed in the aquatic wing of site ██ in a standard large aquarium furnished with rocks and plants local to their area.

Description: SCP-4365 is a 1.3 square kilometer beach/ocean area on the coastline of ██████. the beach is located at the bottom of a large approximately 15-meter tall wall made from several large boulders and rocks that acts as a way to climb down into SCP-4365. the beach itself is made out of many large boulders and smaller rocks scattered around connected by patches of sand. another notable aesthetic detail is the presence of several enormous rocks emerging from the water approximately 7 to 8 meters from the shore. these rocks also have various types of plant life growing off the top and sides of them. because it is so dangerous for any human to enter the area all pictures and samples must be collected by a manned drone. when non-effected Dungeness crabs are

Instances of SCP-4365-1 have the appearance of regular wild Dungeness crabs but behave very differently to other crabs near the area. Any instances of SCP-4365 near instantly become extremely hostile to any animal or human life entering the area of SCP-4365. instances of SCP-4365-1 will immediately find the quickest route to any life entering the area and will stop at almost nothing to attack and consume the tissue of whatever they find leaving only the bones or cartilage of the creature sometimes even coming far out of the water onto the beach. Instances of SCP-4365-1 appear for the most part biologically identical to a standard Dungeness crab except for extremely strong acidic saliva (similar to stomach acid). it is currently unknown why instances of SCP-4365-1 only appear in the vicinity of SCP-4365 and nowhere outside of this specific beach. instances of SCP-4365-1 prove very difficult to capture alive, only 17 instances of SCP-4365-1 have been successfully captured and contained due to successful dismantling/evasion of drones or death during transport.
