Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be locked in a steel, windowless room. The only entrance is a blast door. The room is to be furnished with basic human technologies, including a steel folding chair, a wooden desk, a basic pen, a 5-ounce inkwell, and a 50-page stack of office paper. No cameras are to be installed within the confines of the containment area, but audio recording devices are permitted. Anyone who attempts to bring a camera into the containment area of SCP-XXXX will be terminated.
The inkwell is to be refilled daily by vision-impaired personnel. Any increase in activity is to be reported immediately.
Description: SCP-XXXX appears to be a human male of the Caucasian race, measuring 185 centimeters tall and weighing at approximately 68 kilograms. The specimen wears a dress shirt that never accumulates dirt, nor does SCP-XXXX emit any bodily odor, despite the lack of sanitation methods in the containment area. SCP-XXXX does not require sustenance, and therefore is not fed.
SCP-XXXX writes at the desk in their containment area for a minimum of 3 hours per day, in a language that cannot be properly translated. Each day, the characters and grammatical structures of the language are different, therefore translation efforts have ceased. The format of the documents written by SCP-XXXX is similar in characteristic to poems. Despite the use of anomalous language, SCP-XXXX speaks fluent English to all personnel that interacts with the specimen. When questioned on the contents of the documents, SCP-XXXX replied with "I just write what I think. The crisp feeling of the ink guides me, and the feeling of writing is orgasmic. It matters not what is contained within the words, but only the intentions". All attempts to extract information on the documents have resulted in similar answers.
When asked on their past, SCP-XXXX rarely responds. If the specimen does respond, they likely evade the question. SCP-XXXX shows symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder when questioned on the topic of their past (see addendum 2).
If the inkwell placed within the specimen's room runs out of ink, SCP-XXXX becomes aggressively manipulative. SCP-XXXX will attempt to get personnel to directly look at an object that they hold in the specimen's right hand. This object will be referred to as SCP-XXXX-A. This object seems to materialize from nothing, and searches on SCP-XXXX prove inconclusive in finding the object upon SCP-XXXX's person. If SCP-XXXX is successful in getting personnel to peer upon SCP-XXXX-A, a limb on the personnel will ███ ███, and SCP-XXXX-A will "siphon" a substance resembling a dark ink from the wound into itself. Research on the "ink" suggests that SCP-XXXX-A uses bodily elements such as carbohydrates and lipids to create organic ink. After extraction, the victim then ceases life functions due to blood loss a few hours after, and if they survive, they will perish from other causes relating to the trauma faced (see addendum 1).
All attempts to get a visual on SCP-XXXX-A have failed. In one's peripheral vision, SCP-XXXX-A appears to be a dark globular object, however, reports from personnel who have been attacked by SCP-XXXX vary (see addendum 1). Viewing the object in camera footage and photos yield the same effect as if viewed in person, and no amount of editing removes this effect.
Addendum 1:
Interviewer: Dr. ██████████
Foreword: D-████ was attacked by SCP-XXXX-A after a failure to refill the inkwell in its containment area.
Begin Log
Interviewer: "When you saw SCP-XXXX-A, what did it look like?
D-████: It, uh, looked like a rock. Somethin' you'd find at a gift shop in a museum. But it was all these stran' colors… One second, it was blue, another it was red. I-it kept… changing. I-it was no colors, but it was all colors, an' I-I…
End Log
Closing Statement: D-████ experienced a grand-mal seizure, lasting █ minutes, before ceasing life functions.
Addendum 2:
*█████████ ███, 1979*: Discovery Report
SCP-XXXX was the prime suspect of a murder that had taken place in Florence, Italy. When taken into the custody of the police, all of the personnel in the facility were murdered. All victims had similar injuries that could not have been caused by a firearm or explosive device, nor was there any trace of a weapon on site. Messages were written on the walls with a substance resembling ink, in a language with no known documentation. Due to the anomalous nature of the events, the Foundation took custody of SCP-XXXX and detonated an array of small bombs within the facility.
SCP-XXXX killed a few personnel while being transferred to Site-██, vocalizing the need to "vent his sinful thoughts before they consumed him". After given a pen and paper, SCP-XXXX lost much of their aggressiveness and wrote several documents during the transfer. The documents were written in a separate language than that written on the walls of the police facility, this one also being undocumented. Containment procedures to be determined.
