Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a standard containment locker. No audio players or compact disk players are to be allowed in a 15 m radius of SCP-XXXX's containment locker. Under no circumstnaces is SCP-XXXX to be used in recreation by any class personnel.
Testing with SCP-XXXX is to be done by D-Class personnel, preferably fans of Mariah Carey. SCP-XXXX's audio does not exhibit an anomalous affect on any individual, so no audioproof room is needed.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a compact disk copy of Mariah Carey's single, entitled All I Want for Christmas Is You. Playing SCP-XXXX will result in the individual who began SCP-XXXX to display an anomalous affect. The individual, designated SCP-XXXX-1, will begin to sing All I Want for Christmas Is You in falsetto, and in between beats, express their romantic affection for Mariah Carey.
Halfway through SCP-XXXX, SCP-XXXX-1 will begin to demand Mariah Carey to be their significant other, despite sexual orientation. At this point in time, Mariah Carey, designated SCP-XXXX-2, will physically manifest in front of the device playing SCP-XXXX. SCP-XXXX-1 and SCP-XXXX-2 will begin to dance, sing, and embrace in a romantic fashion. Attempts to sedate either instance or interview SCP-XXXX-2 have failed.
Once SCP-XXXX is exactly five (5) seconds from ending, SCP-XXXX-1, and SCP-XXXX-2 will embrace. Once the song ends, both instances will simultaneously say "all I want for Christmas is you," and will disappear. It is not known what happens to either instance once SCP-XXXX has concluded playing. All attempts to locate either instance has resulted in failure.
Addendum: SCP-XXXX was discovered on 12/13/2014 when Mike Ross, a 17 year-old online forum user, claimed he was in a romantic relationship with Mariah Carey. Mike Ross proved this claim by providing a video of himself engaging in sexual acts with SCP-XXXX-2. Mike Ross was eventually detained by the local police for distribution of child pornography.
Foundation agents later contained SCP-XXXX from Mike Ross's apartment after local police claimed that SCP-XXXX-2 was "real." To date, Mike Ross has provided no answer on how he obtained SCP-XXXX.
