Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures:
SCP-XXXX is to be contained in a tungsten box measuring 200cmx100cmx200cm with sliding, lockable doors made of borosilicate glass. SCP-XXXX is to be given fresh water and fed a meal of 4-8 Dubia Roaches (Blaptica Dubia) daily, and every second meal is to be coated in a high quality calcium powder marketed towards Bearded Dragons. SCP-XXXX is to have a high quality basking lamp and UVB bulb in it's tank at all times, both of which are to be turned off at night and back on in the morning. SCP-XXXX is to have multiple platforms and hides on several levels in it's tank.
SCP-XXXX is to be handled once a day for 20-30 minutes by any willing personnel wearing a flame retardant suit. During this time, SCP-XXXX's tank is to be cleaned thoroughly and water bowl is to be refilled. After handling, SCP-XXXX's tank is to be locked until feeding time. Further interaction may be permitted if sufficient ID is , however all personnel seeking to interact with SCP-XXXX must wear a flame retardant suit.
In the event that SCP-XXXX-1 arrives on-site, security personnel are to detain them and place them in a standard holding cell. It is highly likely that SCP-XXXX-1 will not stay contained, so guards are to remain on watch around SCP-XXXX's cell and on lookout for SCP-XXXX-1, particularly on a Monday.
Description:
SCP-XXXX is a male Bearded Dragon (Pogona Vitticeps) with a citrus-orange colour morph, weighing 22 ounces and measuring 63 centimetres from head to tail. SCP-XXXX resembles a traditional western Dragon in both wings and the ability to breathe fire. SCP-XXXX's wings measure 80cm in wingspan and enable flight in an otherwise flightless animal. SCP-XXXX can maintain flight for 6-10 minutes before tiring and needing to rest and bask, however is unable to hover. SCP-XXXX produces fire by unknown means, and is entirely resistant to flame whether produced by it or otherwise. SCP-XXXX utilises it's flames when it feels threatened or is hunting prey, using flames to efficiently cook insects. Unlike most Bearded Dragons, SCP-XXXX is entirely insectivorous and actively refuses all plant matter offered to it.
SCP-XXXX was found in the home of SCP-XXXX-1 in a small, unclean tank after neighbours had reported multiple fires weekly in the home. The foundation then recovered SCP-XXXX from a very reluctant SCP-XXXX-1. SCP-XXXX is fairly intelligent for a Bearded Dragon, able to solve basic puzzles and with relative ease so long as it is motivated by "treat" food such as Wax moth larvae (Galleria mellonella). Further experiments on the extent of SCP-XXXX's intelligence are still being performed.
Whenever SCP-XXXX sees SCP-XXXX-1, SCP-XXXX will show immediate distress and try to put as much distance between SCP-XXXX-1 and itself as possible. It is very likely that SCP-XXXX was treated poorly by SCP-XXXX-1, judging by SCP-XXXX's original housing.
SCP-XXXX-1 is a 67 year old caucasian male with a long, white beard who is always seen in blue robes and a blue pointed hat. SCP-XXXX-1 carries a thick, 156 centimetre long stick which it claims is it's "Staff of the ancients" and claims to be a "Wizard of old" however this statement likely has no truth behind it. SCP-XXXX-1 claims to be a user of powerful magic, although refuses to perform any when asked and is yet to prove this statement. The most prevalent anomalous feature of SCP-XXXX-1 is that it can teleport to seemingly anywhere in the world when either attacked or in containment and not being watched.
SCP-XXXX-1 claims that SCP-XXXX is a Dragon gifted to it by the "King of Xudavia" and that the foundation doesn't know how to contain it's immeasurable power. SCP-XXXX-1 shows up at Site-██ on a routinely basis, every Monday at 3:00PM starting ██/██/17. It is unknown how SCP-XXXX-1 discovered the location of the site, however attempts to locate SCP-XXXX-1 after teleporting have all been futile. Visits normally end with SCP-XXXX-1 attempting to enter Site-██ through the front door and failing before being shot at by guards. SCP-XXXX-1 does, occasionally, attempt other ways of entering the facility. The following is a list of all unique attempts at breaching;
- A revolver pistol, which ran out of ammo after 6 shots.
- The same revolver pistol, this time with extra rounds of ammo.
- A rocket launcher with one shot, caused minor damage to the facility door.
- An M1 Abrams tank, destroyed by foundation personnel before it could come in range of the facility.
- A large, wooden horse resembling the ancient Trojan horse. Was blown up before it reached Site fences.
- SCP-005. (Note that this appeared to be a copy of SCP-005 as the real object was still in containment at the time. This copy still held all anomalous properties of SCP-005. The copy disappeared upon teleportation and current condition is unknown. Further study to be carried out.)
- No weapons, but rather a fake moustache, making a sales pitch to guards before detainment.
- A drill.
It is currently unknown how SCP-XXXX-1 is able to aquire any of the above items, and it is unknown what happens to them upon teleportation. Further study into how to contain SCP-XXXX-1 is currently under way. Due to SCP-XXXX-1's ability to replicate anomalous objects, it is considered a danger to the foundation and the outside world.
