Special Containment Procedures: Due to the nature of SCP-4857, it is currently is unable to be contained, though prefers places with buttons that reside next to a door that has a purpose, such as doorways leading to hallways or to rooms. Rarely does it teleport to a location outside of Site-19.
Description: SCP-4857 is a light brown/beige colored fridge that resembles vintage models made in the mid to late 1900s, particularly made by the manufacturer ██████. SCP-4857 does not appear to follow the normal conditions of gravitational pull that other non-anomalous fridges typically follow, and has even been shown to teleport when not in direct line of sight, similar to SCP-███. Otherwise, the materials that make up the outer shelling of SCP-4857 are typical, common metals found in many other objects of its kind.
SCP-4857 seems to be able to choose which subject it allows to open itself up to. Research is ongoing to ascertain the idea that SCP-4857 possess a degree of sentience, or if the subjects able to hold it have met a certain requirement to do so.
