Incident "Joyride"
On 12 December 2020, a virus of anomalous nature, now catalogued as SCP-62██, was released into the public by the Group of Interest Scarlet Hammer. Persons infected by SCP-62██ exhibited odd and aggressive behavior, which caused various infected persons to attack and kill any person or animal that it detects. The anomaly was released in a Nightclub in █████, a small town in Russia. At 1946 hours, Mobile Task Force Kappa-15 "First Responders," and Iota-10 "Damn Feds," along with additional foundation personnel responded to the incident. Field personnel encountered various infected persons of SCP-62██, who were reported to be all attacking each other "like animals." Furthermore, armed combatants that were not under the influence of SCP-62██ were present and engaged the Foundation personnel. Armed combatants had confirmed origins from Scarlet Hammer, and had anomalous regenerative properties.
At approximately 2001 hours, after initial contact with Scarlet Hammer combatants, two Mi-28 attack helicopters, one Mi-17 transport helicopter, and four BTR-80s belonging to Scarlet Hammer arrived and engaged Foundation personnel, and remained within the town to fortify their position. This warranted a response from the National Guard of Russia. At 2021 hours, two MiG-31 interceptor aircraft shot down the Scarlet Hammer helicopters, and at 2033 hours a team of Special Purpose Mobile Unit (OMON) from the National Guard of Russia arrived to the area and began engaging Scarlet Hammer combatants. At 2058 hours, National Guard Separate operational Purpose Division (ODON) arrived and eliminated the remaining Scarlet Hammer presence within the town. On December 13 at 0512 hours, the entire incident was passed off as a terror attack, and loose ends were covered up by Mobile Task Force Gamma-5 "Red Herrings".
After this incident, the Federal Security Service (FSB) has practically declared a witch-hunt on Scarlet Hammer. Foundation diplomats has offered to help, which the FSB has accepted. However, current operations are in complete control of the FSB, and his disallowed any operations from the Foundation outside its jurisdiction. Due to the risk of harming the relationship with the Foundation and a federal body of Russia, these conditions have been agreed upon.
Operation "Bonzai"
An Intelligence Agency cell had been scouting a Scarlet Hammer facility in a rural town in the Urals. For six months, the Intelligence Agency has been collecting information on the facility, and on 11 December 2020 formed Provisional Task Force Epsilon-42 "Super Winning Awesome Team" to specifically train in a Kill House to raid the facility. However, shortly after Incident "Joyride", the FSB has decided to raid the facility prematurely, with or without assistance from the Foundation. Joint Task Force Alpha-18 "Popeyes" was formed, and absorbed PTF E-42 along with a platoon from FSB's Alpha Group. Currently JTF A-18 is recruiting additional personnel before they commence the raid.
Operation "Bonzai"
Preparations
Morning all, my name is Nick Gallie, field operations commander of Kappa-15 covering European operations. I am here to brief you on the account that commander Gleamer is getting banged and commander Storm is throwing a fit at the FSB Colonel. I swear, the commanders aren't as incompetent as they sound.
So, most of you probably have just arrived from either Alpha-9 or Alpha-18, and I know that we have a spook among us today. To not waste anymore time, this briefing will cover the elements and units of the operations, background information on the location, known combatants, ROE, additional support, such and such.
Moving straight into it, you will be assaulting an abandoned soviet base in a rural town up in the Urals. Target building is a long administrative building, which a picture of you can find on the operation file. It is mostly surrounded by trees, and a total of eighteen guards can be spotted patrolling the outside. The target building has many windows, and more combatants will be engaging from the inside. It is approximately an additional platoon of 32 guards inside, and speculated that a highly armed paramilitary team of 18 is present, which is also assumed to be armed with anomalous weaponry and entities. Non-combatants are on scene. All Scarlet Hammer too. Thankfully FSB has permitted a lenient ROE, allowing engagement of any unknowns at field operators discretion.
The target building will be separated into three sections. Section Alef will be the entire first floor of the first building, including the entrance and any other room. Section Dalet will be the upper deck, or second floor of target building. And finally, section Ayin, which is an underground facility under target building, size and length unknown. Both section Alef and Dalet have intelligence and specific room layouts, however section Ayin is completely unknown, and we have no intelligence on it. For that reason, you will first secure section Alef and Dalet before breaching, exploring, and securing section Ayin.
Onto team composition. Main raiding force is Alpha-18 and Nu-7. Alpha-19 will act as inner cordon and entry team, while Nu-7 will act as outer cordon team. Inner cordon will be considered target building to specify.
Alpha-19 will be a platoon of 24, filled with operators from formerly Provisional Task Force Epsilon 42 and FSB Alpha Group. Other members are from other Task Forces, and are currently selecting more members before we begin the raid. Nu-7 will be a platoon of 16.
Support is coming from Gamma-5 and Sigma-9. Gamma-5 of course keeping this all under the radar, with Sigma-9 providing ISR drone and two MiGs for air support if needed. QRF is Kappa-15, two squads of 12. Also have 42 operators from the National Guard’s SOBR. Alpha-9 and Eta-10 agents will be attached to the main raiding force as well.
Main Assault
Here is the game plan. We will be assaulting the target building from the air and ground. A ground team of one BTR-80M and two GAZ Tigr MRAP, all provided by the FSB, will roll up to target building. BTR will be filled with Nu-7, and MRAP filled with a few Alpha-18 teams. Rest of the Alpha-18 will be deployed via Mi-17, two to be exact. A single Mi-28 will be providing escort, and be engaging the target building. For those who are riding in the helicopters- be warned you may encounter MANPADs and RPGs, so be prepared for that.
Two teams will fast rope from one of the Mi-17s, and deploy onto the rooftop. They will blow a hole on the roof, and enter from there. Boots on the ground will assault the security and eliminate the guards, and storm the target building through the back and front entrance. Or making an entrance themselves if they feel like it. From there, clear sector Alef and Dalet, and secure any intelligence you find. Search computers, papers, files, and any other storage devices. Report everything to TOC and take pictures.
From there, another team from Alpha Group will come in and clear sector Alyin. Yeah, I know, sucks. Alpha-18 teams will be set on standby in the case that the Alpha Group operators need backup.
